Jar was great, but the stick on temperature gauge was broken and never worked right out of the box. Everything else was good. Overall an excellent setup for a beginning baker of sourdough bread.

I recently bought the Complete Sourdough Kit, and we have been having fun with our family baking adventures! The kit comes with everything you need: a sturdy starter jar, 2 beautiful proofing basket, dough scraper, silicone sling, Danish Whisk, other tools and a really helpful instruction & recipe booklet. Please note, it doesn’t include flour, but that wasn’t a big deal for us as we already had the all purpose flour at homePackaging is great, recipe book is even better & our baking schedule is fixed for next 3 months.Loving it!

Unfortunately I don’t get a good sourdough bread near where I live & hence I have decided to bake my own bread & that is every single week.Avo on toast is my fav thing for breakfast.The Jar itself is quite big about 1000ml or 35 Oz and has a big mouth so everything becomes convenient including washing and cleaning.• Temperature Band: Ensures that the starter stays at the perfect temperature, crucial for its growth.• Tracking Band: Helps monitor the rise and fall of your starter, making it easy to see when it's ready to use.• High-Quality Spatula: Sturdy and well-made. You can feel it when you hold this one in your hand. Other ones that I used in the past felt flimsy• Aluminum Lid: Keeps the jar sealed tightly. This jar is widemouth which allows me to clean it easily.Temperature & tracking band helps in tracking the progress.Cloth top allows the starter and culture to breathe & rise up. Aluminum lid helps in keeping the jar air tight.Overall perfect for my baking needs
