Installation Instructions (Replacing a Damaged Plug)
- Open Housing: Unscrew and separate the replacement rv 30 amp plug casing.
- Identify Terminals: Locate clearly marked terminals inside the 30 amp rv plug body.
- Secure Cable: Position the 30 amp rv cord into the strain relief clamp. Tighten screws firmly to prevent wire displacement.

Many people know there are a lot of cable standards in the US-- a ridiculous amount if being honest. I got this adapter to make use of a cable I possess that has a plug end I'll never use.This male plug doesn't come with a wire grommet. The female plug has one, but not this. It doesn't even show one in the picture. That's a 2 star deduction for me. I guess I'll have to wrap my wires 23+ times to fill the gap and and seal the rest with liquid electrical tape.There is nothing to secure the wires individually beyond the screw terminal. The best bet to keep the wires from pulling free is to secure them with 315 degree bend around the terminal for hot and neutral or do the easier 45 degree bend and have them be easier to pull free.
