I am beyond happy with this new bipod. I’ve looked at the other Atlas V8s along with some other brands but, my whole life always just purchased Harris Bipods (which I do like). I was in the market for a new, preferably QD, pic rail attachment 9-13” bipod for a custom built backcountry rifle and although tough to do, finally decided to try out one of these with the tall version being what I was looking for. The price was scary but, I’ve always heard great things from others and have had my hands on a V8 so, knew they were quality bipods and decided to finally break down and give one a try.The moment it arrived just playing with it I was already impressed. Very easy to adjust the legs, tilt and pan knob was easy to tighten and loosen, feels well built overall, light in weight, and a breeze to put on if one didn’t want to keep it mounted while hiking. It feels good, doesn’t dig in when over the shoulder on the sling when mounted to the rifle as I plan to keep it during hunts. I did notice that little play it has others have commented on but, without even loading it too much everything locked up nice for me. Looking forward to getting some field use out of it now. I’m glad I finally went for it.

I have an M1A loaded with an archangel stock (6.5 creedmoor). I originally grabbed a $150 bipod for it and it was just ok. This one actually got me excited when I installed it.Very tough and easy to use, I have confidence this will last me for years and years, even with heavy use. It came in a nice package from BT and it has the Atlas name indented right into it. This is also a very solid piece so I think it is safe to say this is a legit product.I installed it right out of the package and it was a little loose, but I knew it had a screw to tighten the grip on the rail so I tightened it one full turn and it fits very well. It takes about 5 seconds to take off with no tools so it is easily interchangeable between Picatinny rails for separate rifles. My friends have and use Harris mounts, those ones are good no question, but this Atlas is better.FYI this Atlas mount is the BT47 (7 to 13 inches) better for larger guys shooting from the prone, the BT46 is the standard 6 to 9 inch sized one.

A big fan of the quick detachment and long legs. Is good for one one to useOn multiple. It doesn’t come with any mKock rails for mounting

Feel really solid on my RPR. Not a bargain buy, wish the quality of the bipod pays off down the road.

This bipod is awesome. I initially looked at this device due to the fact it wasnt spring driven. However i bought it due to the versatility of the device. The ability to have the legs forward, backward, center, or forward and backward at the same time. It is very strong and very well made. Well worth the money. I have it on my Mossberg MVP LC.

Bought this for a 101 course, mostly initial system setup and ended up needing to take a large pair of pliers to tighten it. Over all pretty nice, expensive, but nice.
