My review is cost based, because you can get better sleeping bags, just not for the cost of this one. This is an all purpose type bag. It’s good to use outdoors in moderate temperatures and it’s a nice bag to get cozy in when indoors, even if it’s nap time or unexpected overnight company. I have used it with an air mattress for the younger rascals and I have had no complaints. The size should accommodate just about anyone, it’s well over six feet long, probably seven feet including the hood.It is a lightweight bag, not made for subzero temperatures. The material is a slick, silky like feel. The inside is close to the same, not flannel or other hot material. The fill is very light and is easy to compress to get it in the furnished storage bag, when in storage bag it is about a one foot cube. The zipper works from both outside the bag as well as inside the bag and it zips across the top when one is in it, which is much more convenient than a side zipper, it just makes sense. So, if you want to sleep outside and it’s in the 40° F range, this is a good choice. Indoors you can use it for nap time or just to be comfy, very versatile and most affordable.

A light sleeping bag suitable for late spring and summer camping in equatorial regions. I wouldn’t use this far north or in desert areas as the temperatures drop beyond comfortable temperatures. The size is adequate for single person use and functionally fine in that the zippers work well and will provide decent warmth in warmer climates. The sleeping bag is of decent quality in both construction and materials. A decent value for a summer sleeping bag.

This is a great sleeping bag that's perfect for cold weather and comes with its own compression sack to fit it into for transportation. This sleeping bag is nice and soft, but also durable and sturdy, made of ripstop nylon with a metal zipper that can be separated to use it as a blanket instead if you want. It's a good material that feels soft but doesn't take on water so it stays dry even when the ground gets wet, but it's still breathable enough that I don't feel sweaty in it. It's got a Velcro loop to cover the end of the zipper, a drawstring to pull it tight over your head, and an integrated padding under the head that could be used as a pillow in a pinch. Finally, the compression sack does a good job of shrinking it down a bit, which helps when camping or even backpacking. As far as downsides go, this is a thick sleeping bag so it's going to be major overkill in hot or warm weather; this is really only useable in cold weather. Being so thick also means it takes up a fair bit of space, so even in the compression sleeves, if you're backpacking you'll want to consider if you really need a cold-weather sleeping bag or not.Overall, this is a great sleeping bag and I highly recommend it if you need something for cold, semi-extreme weather conditions.* I only review things that I personally use myself on a regular and continued basis.* I always give my full, honest, unbiased and unfiltered opinion on everything I review.* I will not hold back or avoid describing any issues I have with a product.* I write exactly what I think about things - the good, the bad, the ugly, and the questionable.* If I get multiple of something it's because I regularly use and need both of them.* And, I will update my review if something breaks, stops working as intended, or otherwise doesn't hold up as expected.

Got this bag for my 14 year old son to use on scouting camping trips. He'd previously been stuck with either my ancient Coleman bags or cool looking but super cheapo compression bags from alphabet-soup-non-brands. When he was younger, he wasn't very careful with his gear, but now he's capable of caring for something a bit nicer. He really loved using this bag, and couldn't believe the difference in quality. He used it twice this year in later winter to early spring in south Georgia with overnight temperatures in the low 40s. He said the bag kept him perfectly warm with no additional clothing or blankets needed. Just from my observation, I don't think I'd try this bag at much lower temperatures than that, although realistically in our area, another 10 degrees or so is all we'd be dealing with. The bag looks great. He is right about 6 foot tall, and 150 pounds, so this bag is PLENTY big for him. Let me take a second to highly recommend bags that are a little too big for you. That extra space does a lot for your comfort level, and having some extra room for warm air to build up really helps your temperature versus having your feet pressed to the bottom of the bag.Material quality is very nice. Zippers are sturdy and function well. Overall I'm quite happy with this bag, and so is my boy. This will do him very well until he can decide if he needs a high-end product
