We were pleased to use these at our baptismal service. They are quite lovely. The only problem we came across was a regular pen would not work on them. We purchased an ultra fine sharpie and that did the job. The accompanying envelopes were a nice touch.

There is a semi-sheen on this paper. It looks nice until you try to write on it. I tried with several different mediums including: calligraphy ink, gel pen, sharpie, and regular pen. Everything has the potential to smear. I ended up using calligraphy ink and had to go over my writing two times and then let it dry overnight. It then dried and did not smear.The design is lovely. If the paper was matte and easy to write on without smear, I would have rated it 5 stars.
