I purchased one of these last year and loved the comfort, so when it came time to purchase another stand, I didn’t hesitate. When the stand arrived, I laid out the parts and began assembling, only to find two support braces (Under support gussets) were missing. I continued with the assembly since it was during “non-customer service hours”, believing I would call in the morning, and they would send them over the next few days. When I called, I spoke with Kaylee, who told me they were currently out of the parts needed. I asked if I could be placed on a list to have them sent when the parts were available, and was told “no, we don’t do that”, but you can send it back to the place of purchase (Amazon) and get a refund. I shared that I had already assembled the stand, and didn’t want to disassemble it. I went online to purchase a 3rd stand (you really can’t have enough stands) to use the supports from the new stand while waiting for the replacement parts, but Amazon was out of stock. I thought I would send customer service a note on line, but received the following reply from GSM Outdoors:“Hello,Unfortunately we do not have spare parts. We suggest trying to do an exchange through the dealer that you purchased it from. If it is within 1 year of purchase we would be happy to exchange or replace your product. If it is outside the warranty, we do offer discounts on replacements through our Customer Service Department. You can call (877) 269-8490 Mon-Fri 8a-5p CST and one of our customer service agents can get that set up for you.Thank you,LeahGSM OutdoorsCustomer Service Team(877)269-8490 Toll-Free in US & CanadaI’m of the opinion that if GSM Outdoors wanted to do the right thing, they would open a new box, take out the 2 parts and mail them to me.Buyers beware.

Early review covering initial impression and assembly.I ordered two of these. The first shipment was turned around as "damaged, undeliverable", so it seems Amazon is sensitive to the fact that parts get lost from these when the packaging is damaged. Refund was processed promptly and I re-ordered. Second shipment arrived with minor damage to the boxes, but contents were fine. Initial impression of design and build-quality are good. I like the width of the ladder, platform, and seat. The thickness of the metal and the oval profile of the ladder sides feels nice and sturdy. As other reviewers have mentioned, the directions for assembly are not great, but if you take your time and refer to the real life photo on the front of the box, they're adequate. Definitely take a few minutes to sort out the hardware ahead of time so you're not mixing up sizes while assembling. The package contains (both of mine did anyway) exactly the number of each type of bolt, nut, and washer that are required for assembly. The seat seems like it will be comfortable, but can't know for sure until first multi-hour sit. One minor gripe is the rail covers for armrests and shooting rail, the "padding" they have included is hardly worth the name, maybe 1/8" thick at best.Overall, I'm very happy with the stand for the price, and look forward to using them next season.

I have to question the quality control measures taken where these stands are manufactured. The first stand I got I had no problems what so ever with. Although the instructions were something to be desired. I am not a super big guy and found this stand to have just enough room for me and is quite comfortable. I think that a big person will need to go with a two person stand. I don't know how anyone could hunt from a standard single person stand. I liked the stand enough to purchase another one. OMG! what a difference! The second one was absolute junk. I had to pound, bend and drill to make parts fit. I should have called the manufacturer and complained. Then when I went to place the stand on a tree, the ratchet straps were put together wrong and were worthless. As soon as you started to tighten them they let loose so I had to use different straps and toss the ones that came with the stand. Then the seat would not rest on the supports properly. The seat would fall off of the supports. I had to use another ratchet strap to bring the two supports closer together so that the seat did not slip off. You would think that I would have learned my lesson, but no. I just ordered a third stand from Cabela's for $119.98 with free shipping. I figured at that price I would take another chance. If nothing else I will have spare parts since a person is not able to get any replacement parts for this stand.

Simple but hopefully review.Pros- Very sturdy, holds up well over time, comfortable seat, very roomy.Cons- Assembly is somewhat difficult you have to really pay attention to the sizes it calls for in each section. It’s light for it sizes but you’ll need help getting it up against a tree.Over all I would recommend this Stand. It’s very nice for the price and holds up to the weather if left up year around.

Selon le plan, la barre d’appui se pose comme sur la photo; toutefois, la barre monte et descend sans permettre de s’appuyer sur elle pour viser? Il manque des fixations de chaque côté pour empêcher la barre de descendre complètement sur nos jambes! Ces fixations devraient permettre un ajustement de la bonne hauteur de la barre d’appui pour le chasseur!

The instructions are not the easiest to follow but once I set it up a couple of times don't even need them. The stand is super quiet while sitting. The seat is very comfortable and the rail is quiet to operate. You can easily stand in it and you have room for your backpack under your feet. Footrest is quiet and really helps the long sits. Great unit......T

The metal is a very light gauge, and the welds are poorly done. I purchased 2 of these stands and both had weak welds and as the picture shows the welds came apart in the box, new. The picture is of the cross brace that extends from the ladder mid way up to the tree. I had to drill bolt and re-weld parts before being able to use these tree stands.
