Building in SFF is super tight. My B550I AORUS doesn't have a type E header either, so I had to use this adapter to convert a USB 2.0 header to type E so I can use the USB C port on the side of my case. Simple to install and solid click from the type E cable. This worked perfectly with no issues, everything USB C peripheral I plug in to the case shows up instantly and has no connection drop out issues. This is the best value as this is a two pack for the usual price for only one adapter.

Great if you have a computer case that uses two USB 3.2 Gen 1 cables for a total of 4 USB A / C ports. Most cases nowadays are starting to use the tiny USB 3.2 Gen 1 port instead of the classic blue motherboard port of previous years. But you'll only get USB 2.0 speeds so keep that in mind. Ships fast, great affordable price. Highly recommended!
