Certainly a personal preference, but I do like the color and design. The non-slip backing seems to work and the mat seems to be well made. The picture shows how I had hoped to use the mat. Unfortunately, I will be looking for an alternative use. My chair and this mat seem to have a compatibility issue. I have used this chair previously both over a plastic mat over carpet and over a hardwood floor with no mobility issue. The chair moved freely. When I am sitting on the chair on this mat, if I attempt to reposition, the chair is binding and difficult to move. Again, this could simply be an issue of this specific chair and others may move just fine. I don't have another chair to test. Additionally, if I happen to roll too far to the back or side and a wheel rolls off the mat, when attempting to roll back on, the mat simply bunches up under that portion of the chair. I then need to get off the chair, lift it back onto the surface of the mat, and smooth the mat out on the floor.Since my issues with this mat are specifically related to the performance of my chair on the mat, I cannot speak to how another chair might function. Since I do like the mat, I will be seeking an alternative use.

This is so pretty! I'm using it in my home office on top of tile floors and it is delightful. The colors are so pretty and the mat has such a nice feel, like carpet, but it is very smooth for rolling. It holds to the floor nicely, keeping its flatness.

This is not for me. I was expecting this to be more of a traditional office mat that an office chair slides around on easily. It's very thin and crunches up when rolling a chair on it. It's not hard like most office mats. The underside does have a non stick material, but it really is not so effective that is keeps it put. I don't know what I'll use this for, but not for office chair use.

This was larger than I expected, but the edge of the chair mat is not as nice as I would have hoped. The edge has generic surger type finish that cheapens the rug appearance. The price for this is $54 and I expected for a small rug for this to be nice, but the price point is too high for this lower quality. If I had seen in a store I would have passed on this. If it was priced around $25 then I think that would have been more reasonable. The carpet is laying out right now with heavy things on it trying to smooth out the creases. If it does not relax/smooth out, then I will come back and remove another star.

It's like a thick vinal material. The bottom does have padding to make it not slip or move around.Does not work very well putting it on top of carpet or rug. Has to be on flat hard flooring.The print is nice and looks like a fancy rug which is nice. It comes folded in a thick square.Chair rolls well over it and it doesn't fold up or move around while doing it.

The non-slip surface on the bottom of this chair mat works great. It's not likely to slip around when you walk on it, and the chair rolls easily around. Rolling over rug is nice change from rolling over traditional plastic chair mats. I'm dropping one star because the chair tends to snag on the edge if you roll off and then try to roll back on the rug.
