It worked perfectly for my needs and was easy to apply. I used it to seal cast iron waste pipe that had apparently had an impurity when cast and corroded on the top due to waste gas. After properly preparing the cast iron (angle grinder and grinding stone to remove all loose particles and get down to good cast iron); I applied CRC RTV Silicone Sealant and the repair is still holding.Before and After photos attached...
