Wish I had read the other 1 star reviews first. This is not a deep socket and instead just looks like a deep socket. Actual depth is about 1/4 or 3/8 inch and not the approx 1 inch it appears to be. My normal depth socket is deeper than this.

It's a standard depth socket that is just longer, for whatever reason, IDK. I needed it to fit over a double sided hex bit and the recess in this socket is standard depth so my use case wasn't going to work.

Although the exterior of this Crescent 1/4 socket is long, the functioning part of the socket is not deep at all. This socket would not slide deep enough over the part I wanted to tighten due to an interior narrowing about 3/8" down the socket.
