I spend a lot of time on the phone every day for work. I also work with many different individuals and teams, which requires a fair amount of conference calling. I was frustrated at having to use my cell phone speaker function to host or participate in these calls. There's few things more aggravating than having four or five people huddled around a cell phone on the table trying to understand callers on the other end...and for those other callers to understand what we're saying through the marginal microphone on your typical cell phone. While it's not cheap, I took the plunge and ordered the eMeet M1 and hoped for the best. Well.... my best expectations were EXCEEDED. Wow... what a cool device! Extremely well made...solid as a hockey puck and about the same size. Easy to pair. Easy to use. Answer and end calls with one touch of the phone symbol key on top. Volume controls are responsive and a colored light ring lights up to provide a visual cue on your volume level. Speaker on the bottom produces incredible sound, so that callers are extremely easy to understand. In using this device today (it just arrived yesterday) I must have been on about 30 to 40 calls and asked each person to tell me how I sounded. Everyone remarked that I was crystal clear... far better than they're used to hearing me when talking on my phone. Most couldn't believe I was on a speaker device. Incredibly, on several of my calls I tested the range of the microphones by walking about 12 to 15 feet away from the unit while talking and asked people if they noticed a difference. Everyone said they could tell I was moving but that the volume and clarity of my voice didn't change. Wow... What more can I say? I'm sold. This is probably the most useful communications tool I've purchased in years. Takes the utility of mobile communications to a whole new level. Highly recommend it. In fact, I'll probably purchase another one just to keep in my backpack just in case I drop this one ;) Hat's off to the people who developed this thing... amazing.

What is the most important for me - the bluetooth connection is stable. I used the eMeet bluetooth speaker for more than 2 hours in a row several times already, with no single interruption (with Galaxy S8+). It's good for a group of 4-6 people to use. It automatically switches between mics, closest to a sound source. When using, make sure, there is no background noise. eMeet captures sound very well and it can be annoying for the person or party on the other end. Also background noise will make it more difficult for you to hear. I wish speakers could be louder though, with AC on it's quite hard to hear sometimes. I also wish it has 3.5mm jack. Noise cancellation is decend. People on the other end wouldn't hear any feedback, they hear us very clearly. But be considerate, when moving stuff around. Too heavily dropped folder, sliding cup on table instead of lifting and putting back, pouring water into cup, etc - can be REALLY annoying for the people on the other end. I usually put eMeet on leather or on top of it's own storage case instead of putting it on hard table surface. Just call yourself and test it out for better understanding.Bottom line: the product totally worth to buy it, whether you having meetings, talking to family far from you, or your hands are dirty and whatever else you might use it. We are having Bible classes over the phone. It saves everyone's time. It helps to engage more people even who live in a different state. It sounds like you would be in the same room (if you use the device properly). 5 stars!

I bought this for work site teleconferencing for my business in Tucson, Az, and I have to say I'm impressed. the call quality and conversion off the people around the table is top notch people listening in can here everyone clearly without people having to lean in and speak close to the unit; in fact this almost works too well, as the people who were whispering to one another were clearly heard by people on the call even though they were not audible to the folks on the other side of the table. The unit gives a range of ~9m of clear pickup of people talking but I've found it to be closer to 15, so make sure you're in a private enough space or close the door to your conference room if available or people on the other side of the phone call might be really confused by the snippets of passerby conversation they are able to hear clearly.Craftsmanship wise, its well built, feels sturdy and looks good, its designed with a small raise from the table with the speaker around the bottom to bounce out audio in all directions which helps with everyone hearing people on the phone quite well.Battery wise, we've used it for 7 hours of teleconferencing so far and its displaying half battery, well in line with the claims for battery life.Case is nice, but doesn't leave you a spot for a necessary charging cable.Sound audio processing and noise cancellation is great on anything not a voice, which also aids in the speaker presenting clear dialogue to people on the other side of the call.Bottom line? its an amazing product, it looses a star in this case because the microphone audio processing is a little too good, and probably needs a threshold cutoff to be added so its range is a bit more usable in more public settings, but for price and craftsmanship i don't think it can be beat. I've bought another one for my satellite office in Sierra Vista, Az.
