I have tried pickup tubes, baskets and two different rotary pickup tools. This collector is the fastest and best. It is similar to the less-expensive Neewer brand collector, but the K-Court Kollectaball is larger and better. The K-Court holds just over 40 pickleballs, even though it is rated for 30. I have used the K-Court and Neewer side by side and the K-Court is the better unit. It can hold about 10 more balls per load.I took the folding stand off of my K-Court. This folding arm just adds weight and it gets in the way. I like the fact that the handle is bent at the top. This makes it easier and more comfortable to use. There is a fence hook at the end of the handle, that works perfectly. The fasteners are stainless steel, but they tend to loosen up with use. I had to apply locktite to avoid loosing screws. You will need to assemble this unit, but I had it done in about 10 min.

Usage- I have been using it for almost a year. I use it almost 5 days a week with the Slinger tennis ball machine.- It helps a lot to collect almost 300 balls back to the machine and to the basket.- The limitation is when the ball is next to the fence. I have to walk and use the racket and flick the balls out from the fence before starting to use this ball collector.- After using it for almost a year, some strings get bent, and balls bounce out from the collector.- I message the seller and they responded in a couple of hours.- Replacement of the string is easier than installation. Just use a small metal with a pointy tip that comes with a new string set, and poke it in a hole of the string that I want to replace, then the old string pop out, then do it again on the other side. Then push a new string to the slot on both sides. That's it. It's easy. I replaced about 10 strings in about 15 minutes.- Comparing this ball collector with a basket which I have to lift up to collect balls around the court. This one is wayyyyyy easier, quicker, safer for my back.- Comparing this one to a ball tube which can collect ball only ten or fifteen balls at a time and I have to lift it up, put it down again and again. This ball collector is quicker and easier.Dislike- It makes some noise when I roll it around the court. So if there is no ball near, I will lift it up and use my hip to hold it, then start to roll it again. However, the noise is not that loud. I just don't want to bother people.- It's metal. So it's cold in the winter holding it. I like to use gloves when I use it. However, it's not a big deal.Like- Easier, Quicker, and back-friendly than other types of ball collectors I've ever used like baskets, ball tubes.- The price seems high but I got a good quality of product and the customer service is excellent.- Sometimes, I let kids that I coach use it too. It's fun to use. I can see that.Conclusion- I really recommend it.

It came in pieces and required assembly, which will take more than 3-4 hours. Very tedious work. I just have no patience. There are other similar ones that are light weight and sold assembled. I will not waste money on this product.

This really speeds up my ball collection and helps with keeping my back from being sore.Even though it took a bit to put together, I actually enjoyed the process of doing so. It was quite fun. I had no problems in putting it together and felt Like I had achieved something afterward. My biggest suggestion would be to adapt it a little for portability. As it is now, the arm easily disconnects from the ball, which is great. However, the arm is in two pieces connected through a piece that requires a screw Requiring an Allen key. If instead of an Allen key, there were some way to use a clip or ball piece like at the bottom, this would make it much easier to take apart for transport.Currently I use a socket like device within Alan Key fit that I keep in my tennis bag and keep the arm pieces in my tennis bag. I then either carry the ball head or I attach it with a carabiner to the top of my backpack style bag.So really it’s just that one little part that could make a great bit of difference. The only other issue is something I’m totally OK with considering how much of a difference it makes on my back and the speed of picking up balls. that is the difficulty of getting balls out on occasion. Granted that is usually when the head is too full. So beware of filling the collector all the way. Fill it up to about 3/4 and then push the triangle part into the wires and shake away.

I have used it three times. I own a pickleball machine. First, this device is an engineering marvel. I first noticed this when putting it together which takes 30-40 minutes. It picks up balls quickly. The mechanism for emptying the basket is good but you have to use the right angle and shake the unit a bit if the basket is full and there is a small learning curve. It’s faster and more fun than using a ball tube. Downsides: 1) I think it weighs about 6 pounds so it’s a little bulky to carry from car to courts but it’s not bad (I have other equipment to carry too); 2) I don’t want to risk damaging it so I have to push or pull balls away from fence when picking up balls. I’m happy I bought it.

I'm giving 3 star because i can't figure how to get an answer as to why the wires hit the center of the moon shaped mount. Ive tried everything I can think of including asking others for ideas.

This thing is amazing! It picks up tennis balls like a vacuum cleaner. You just roll it over the balls and it seems like they get “sucked” into the cage. I usued the ball tube in the past but it only holds 18 balls while this picks up 50 to 60 balls at a time. Much faster and easier to use than the tube. If you use a lot of tennis balls to practice your serve or hit balls with a ball machine, this thing will save you a LOT of time.I was skeptical when another reviewer said it was difficult to assemble even though he said he was handy. It was easy for me. I watched the assembly video and put it together in 30 minutes. When assembling it, I noticed the build quality is solid. Thick and hefty parts so I expect it to last.

My kids’ tennis coach has this and I got one for myself. And it is awesome!!!It does the job of picking up tennis balls perfectly and I would definitely purchase it again. With regards to durability, it is very sturdy.Works just as well on clay courts and hard courts (haven’t tried it on a grass court).I think every tennis coach should have one.The kids now love picking up tennis balls during their lessons. :)

Works better than expected. You don’t even have to press down…just roll it over the balls and they pop in on their own. I have a ball tube but this is way faster and easier. It’s a bit heavy to lift and empty when completely full, so maybe not good for little kids but I guess they could just empty it before full. If you like practicing your serve and using a ball machine, just get one.
