I purchased this break away curtain as a doggie door substitution. I work 31 miles from home and the amount of traffic makes it impossible to rush home to take my Rottie outside to prevent accidents. This curtain do what it say it does! It’s room darkening if you like that kind of stuff. I live in Houston so it gets hot here so room darkening is perfect for me. There’s adjustable straps to pull open the curtains to let in sunlight if thats your type of ministry. During the day when the sun is out my home stays cool. I love it!. My door stays open 12 hrs a day and my light bill is still same as the previous month without it. The weight is perfect to help keep the curtains from flying open when the wind blow. I love the screen quality 10/10. The size fit perfect for an average size door. I chose to keep the bottom where it barely touch on the floor so when my fur-baby is going in and out the curtains will close all the way. I prefer the thermal over the mesh because it keeps the bugs out and the outside air/heat. The magnets are strong. It literally snaps right back in place with minimum hesitation if any. Be careful before sticking it with the adhesive. Make sure it’s where you want it because I removed some paint. Ooops! lol.

I love this thermal curtain. I have it so my dog can come and go as he pleases while I'm at work. I live in very hot climate, 96 degrees and hotter. With the curtain in place it's still cool in the house.It was easy to install. The double sided Velcro is very strong. I've had had it now for 2 months and it's still holding. The curtain is off good quality, thick and heavy.

These have worked out better than I could’ve expected!!! The magnets are super strong. I have a sunroom that gets kind of toasty. This keeps the room insulated and so much cooler than I could’ve expected. My fur babies can come in and out of the house and no bugs, and we still stay cool. These are more durable than the screen covers I used to buy.

Not sure if it was my mistake, but I did not realize this was not see through at all. I bought this to put on our open door so my kiddos could play outside with the door open, but it is not see through at all. kind of defeats the purpose. I feel like I could put a sheet or blanket there.

We love your screen doors. It worked great with the wood frame. Their needs to be a different way to install it on a metal door. The Velcro does not stick very well and keeps coming off.

I've had this up for a total of three hours, and it is the BEST money I've ever spent. I have two dogs, around 20 lbs, who LOVE going out into their fenced-in yard. I work from home, and I like to leave the door open so they can go in and out, and I don't have to get up to let them in/out. However, living in the southern US, the bugs are coming out big time! I've even had a few birds in the house. Plus, the HEAT. This makes it so that I can leave the door open, my dogs can run around at will, the bugs stay outside, and the cool stays in.Bonus is that we're potty training a Dachshund, and he hasn't learned how to "tell" us he needs to potty, but he knows he needs to go outside. Now he goes out, does his business, and comes back in. Saves me time, and it's going to knock down accidents tremendously!

This alternative to a XL doggy door works well for me and several big dogs! They love the freedom and I'm not trying to air condition the world. It doesn't prevent the door from being closed and locked when needed.
