These did not shrink after washing and stayed soft. I washed in cold water and delicate gentle cycle. My newborn was 7 lb and they fit her great and a little big so she can grow into them.

Very bummed did not fit my newborn at all. She’s full term weighed almost 9 lbs and these are more for a premie/newborn under 8 lbs. Good quality overall just wish were bigger. Washed and unused.

I don't know about others but my baby's head grows overtime. Fit okay within first 4 weeks even though it still slipped off pretty easily. After 2 months it was too shallow to wear anymore. 5 stars for mittens though!
