My daughter's two year old mermaid costume was getting worn and small, so I picked this up for her. She loves it! I got the size 7-8 and she's 7.5 years old. The fit is good. She finds swimming in the skirt a little annoying, but loves using that part as a costume and swimming in the top/bottom. The decorative broach does have a sharp pin, so make sure it's secure and not on the suit when your kiddo goes in the water. It's holding up well after several trips to the pool and a wear in the shower.

This is the cutest costume! It’s way better quality than what you get at the Halloween stores. The fabric is nice and the tail has sparkly tulle that makes it fan out. The little gem on the top is so adorable. I had a hard time keeping the headband on until I realized that you put it on like a regular headband and the crown can kind of pivot into the right position. Overall I think it is a great value for what you are getting. It’s perfect for Halloween or dress up! It was true to size as well.

The quality is really nice and the fabric feels soft and stretchy. It fits true to size. My daughter absolutely loves it and didn’t want to take it off. The colors are bright and the little skirt adds a fun mermaid touch. Great for swimming, or just dressing up around the house.
