This is a nice solid plastic case with foam inserts that allow you pluck out whatever shapes you need. The lid casketing works great - I had to (gently) pry the thing open upon arrival.INSERTS: There is a foam insert glued to the top. There are 2 removable layers: one 30mm and one 24mm both with detachable sections and, as you can see in the pictures, these inserts are pre-cut to allow a fine amount of detail in the shaping of a hole. There is a an unglued 10mm solid foam layer at the bottom.HINGES: This rear hinge is pinned with what looks like a 3mm or 4mm steel dowel. The handle and both leaves action clasps also have this type of steel dowel.LOCKING: There are 2 (left and right) ~6mm holes for locks on the front.USAGE: While this is marketed as a gun case, and it certainly makes a nice gun case, I can see a number of uses such as for carrying delicate electronic equipment, test gear, gold bullion, etc.CONCLUSION: Overall a very nice case: I definitely can recommend this case for transporting your valuable items.

Very nice case. The case is sturdy with a thick plastic shell, strong hinge, thick strong clasps, and it has holes on either front corner for padlocks. The foam inserts are decent quality. it even has an air pressure release valve. There's no doubt this case will protect whatever you chose to keep in it; I think it would easily survive anything a reasonable person would expect from a box like this. If you drive over it with your car it will break, if you put ten pounds in it and drop it from 25 feet on to cement it will break (but the contents may still be OK) but if you put one pound in it and drop it from 20 feet on to grass the box will likely survive. really good for the price

This handgun pistol case for my Glock 19 is exactly what I needed for safe storage and travel. The hard shell is extremely durable and waterproof, giving me peace of mind when storing the firearm in less-than-ideal conditions. It's clearly built to withstand some serious abuse.The customizable foam interior is a great feature. I was able to easily shape it to fit my Glock snugly along with a spare magazine, and everything stays secure and protected without shifting around. The foam quality feels dense and shock-absorbing—not the cheap kind that crumbles.

Like most of the other reviewers here, I agree that this is a 'very nice' carry and storage case. The plastic is tough, the case is lockable and it makes for easy movement and storage. I did (do) have a small problem with the case. The advertisement shows the interior foam cut to a specifically mentioned firearm, but the foam wasn't actually cut to size and instead offered up a piece of foam that, it seems, was supposed to be 'customize-able' by removing portions along a confusing pre-cut one size fits all piece of foam, but I had more than a few problems.Where I had a problem is that the case arrives without any instructions on how the foam is supposed to be 'shaped' for a particular size and model. The foam is cut with several 'x' shaped cuts that never quite tore away cleanly. The lines weren't straight, sometimes the foam wouldn't separate cleanly at the cuts and the pieces looked jagged and uneven. I tried patiently to remove the foam, but the results were less than admirable and I eventually tossed the foam and replaced it with a piece I purchased at a hobby/craft store.Overall, a great case, very sturdy and TSA approved for those who travel, but be wary of the foam insert. It is NOT cut to a custom size and you are required to remove foam that doesn't always want to cooperate.

This case seems to be very well made when considering the price. Sure the plastic doesn't seen the highest quality when compared to somthing like pelican but it's not even half the price. The foam has multiple different angles making it easy to adjust for angles when making the design in it to the specific application you are looking for. Not sure why this is advertised as for a specific model but I would go as far to say you could use it for even a small camera. The case is sealed well enough that it keeps air from escaping and you have to use the vent on it every now and then.

Nice quality case. Same item sold under several brand names, and all of them are good. I have several of them and will use them for disaster radio kits, but they would be fine for guns, cameras, GPS, NVGs, and other sensitive equipment.

I needed a new case for my Glock 27.This one is absolutely perfect!Solid construction and very versatile.I like the foam inserts that allow the user to "carve" out the space for the handgun.I was actually able to fit the gun and the hip holster in the case and still have extra room.I'm definitely going to pick up a couple more of these.
