Easy to mount. Nice steadying feature from prone position. Seems durable enough for extended use, but time will tell.

This is the second one of these I've owned and once again I'm not disappointed! Good solid construction, easy to use and let's face it, it makes a rifle look bad-ass! If you buy the best, you will never be disappointed and with a Harris Bipod, you've bought the best.

Just got my Harris the other day. I was weighing between the Atlas and the Harris. I can't see anything in the Atlas that would warrant twice the cost of the Harris. The only advantage I see in the Atlas is the quick disconnect vs the Harris which takes more time as you have to unscrew the mount instead of snap it off. Sure, if you are hauling around your entire arsenal and want to use the same bipod for each, get an Atlas. I would rather have 2 Harris bipods on two rifles for the same cost as one Atlas you would have to manually disconnect and connect. In my opinion, folks buy an Atlas instead of a Harris because it "must" be better since it costs more. These are the same folks that got duped into buying a Q-Fix for twice the cost of a Sig Cross, with absolutely no viable improvements other than pretty bells and whistles.

The Harris HBLMS is well made and does it's job as expected. I like the fact that its made in the USA. This bipod will be used on an AR for sighting in at the range then removed. My first Harris bipod is a permanent accessory on a varmint rifle.

Fits my M1A perfectly and seems to be a good buy so far. Haven't had much occasion to really put it to the test as far as ruggedness and durability but it seems well put together. Besides, if you're beating up this bipod bad enough to hurt it, you're probably not doing your rifle or optics much good either.

Solid and well constructed. Loosened the attachment tightening screw to much and it came out. Just lack of experience won't be a problem now.

I believe I can now differentiate the difference between the knock offs and the real thing now- we bought a knock off version for $40 and it seemed just like a Harris almost. however, under serious recoil it wasn't long before we broke the swivel mechanism and the rifle was flopping left and right. so I bought my first ever ACTUAL Harris bipod and behold, it has thus far taken the abuse of a 7 pound rifle firing a .300 RUM,seriously, the knock off brands come close. some might even be convinced they function just the same- but I found that to be false. I wont use another bipod from anyone else that uses this design- Harris has it right.
