This product works very well, However if you are cleaning a bolt action with a long barrel (24" or better) you are going to need a cleaning rod better than 33 inches in length. The Hoppes's bore guide is priced well as opposed to some of the more expensive items and works as well.

Fits in the receiver of my remi 700 just fine with the included adapters. I did have to trim the length of the tube down a bit because it interfered with the cheek rest on the aftermarket stock I have. Keeps all the cleaning chemicals out of my receiver so it works.

I got this as an open box and after using it a few times I see why it was returned. It really is kind of cheap feeling plastic with changeable bore guides that just fit on the end. You would think that they could have marked what calibers they are for. Easy enough to figure out but it would have made it easier.It works just fine but when I saw the one my son purchased from another company at about the same price it makes this one look like garbage. But it does the job for which it was intended and despite my disappointment as to how it is constructed I think that it will hold up to routine gun cleaning for many years.

I purchased this item for the express purpose of helping to maintain my Savage BVTS model II HV barrel 22. The item is all plastic and in no way will it work on a 22. (way to big) the add indicates 22. and up. I'm confident it will work fine on a 30. caliber of any size, but i don't currently own one. I gave it to friend from the range we shoot at, he will get back to me on his opinion. I know that assumption is the mother of all mistakes, and I assumed the maker knew what it would work on. Next time I will do more research!

It comes with three bore "guide" attachments. The .30 cal fit my Remington 700 SPS Tactical .308 perfectly.

Kann ich nur jedem Empfehlen. Funktioniert wirklich Einwandfrei, viel einfacheres Reinigen möglich, kein einfummeln vom Putzstock mehr und dadurch auch keine Sauerei. Das Öl bleibt da wo es hin soll. Sollte jeder haben für seine Langwaffen zu reinigen.Qualität ist in Ordnung für den Preis, ich hatte erst Bedenken, aber nutze das Teil nun schon ewig und kann nichts schlechtes berichten.
