I almost didn't order this because I saw a few reviews saying it wasn't good quality. I personally think it's good quality but is a lightweight vest which is perfect for hiking so your dog doesn't overheat. I can see where the lightweight material could be a problem if your dog is a leash puller. We were able to pick up our 85 lb Mal with the handle without the vest tearing, but I wouldn't try for long periods of time because the straps are thin and would get uncomfortable for your dog. I also like the pocket style because they fold down when not in use and have lightweight breathable padding against the dog's side to prevent anything in the pocket from being uncomfortable on the dog. And I also liked that the straps had padding for common pinch points on the dog.

Great for the price. Not the most durable product, but does give the most bang for your buck as far as price versus quality goes. Only thing I don't like is that the strap on the back end isn't conveniently placed for my male dogs. The bags do fit well otherwise and stay in place well. True to size.

This is an excellent piece of equipment! It's well-made and rugged, perfect for hiking in the back country. All the straps are adjustable in several ways which was important for my dog because it's just a bit big on him. However, the next size down was too small. Even though I measured carefully, this size works better. Of course there was no problem exchanging with amazon.

I haven't been using it long enough to comment on durability but it is very balance and well fitting. The saddle bags are much more roomy than I expected.

My puppy is 48 pounds and I got a size medium. Quality is good but the sizing not so much. I ordered it according to their size chart. I followed all the instructions and was very careful with sizing my puppy but when we received the product it was very loose on chest and very tight under his tummy. I was very excited about it but have to return it unfortunately 😔
