Product Description

Flash Trigger

The JJC JF-U2 Wireless Trigger Kit provides one transmitter and two receivers for a wireless solution to trigger off-camera flash units, studio lights or a camera’s shutter at distances up to 100’ (30m). This allows you to work with more freedom as the JJC JF-U2 does not require line-of-sight alignment.

The devices operate on the 433MHz frequency and have 16 channels to ensure there is no interference from other units. It also provides the convenience of a wireless camera shutter release, ideal for photographing wildlife, and also for macro photos.

Works well, seems to have good range. I'd put the value for the price pretty high on this, since most of the other remote flash triggers cost a lot more.Bonus that it can be used to trigger the camera itself too, though I have the optional Nikon wireless remote already.

AMAZON MADE THIS RIGHT WITH METHANK YOU AMAZON.There is NO product support from JJCThis is the 3rd set of these JF-U1/JF-U2 for Nikon. The problem is the A-23 12V battery*, this is the transmitter battery. The battery was installed and operational as I unpacked it. The receivers batteries were wrapped with plastic to keep them out of contact. The start voltage was 11.64 VDC. I pressed the TX button and the voltage dropped to 10.96VDC. This battery should not be this low.*about $5.00+ on Amazon. I am not sure I can recommend this device.

Bought these as a backup but Unfortunately when I needed them as a quick backup I found they do not work properly. They do fire the flashes but are not in sync with the camera. I’d steer away from these.

I bought this product at last minute for a photo session and could not locate my previous bought set from another manufacturer. I like this set better then my other set and would buy again if needed.

I set the flash units up as slaves, connected the transmitter to camera to see what happens. It worked, not bad. At first one unit didn't go off right away that I believe was from weak batteries replaced, it worked fine. Watch the switch setup and have plenty of batteries. Why not 5 stars a couple of the batteries that came with were dead. Have fun.

You really do not need to break the bank to get a solid dependable trigger system for your gear. These do the job and at a fraction of the cost. I am very satisfied and definitely would recommend them to anyone.

Work every time without fail. Sill trying to figure out how to use a speedlight with them though, instructions lacking for this function. Would have been 5 stars if instructions included set up instructions for proper set up for speedlight setup.

Setup took about 2 minutes, worked right out the box and they even came with batteries! I couldn’t be happier with these!

This equipment works very well as a remote trigger for a camera shutter or a remote trigger for a flash if the transmitter is mounted on the hot shoe, BUT it will NOT work as a remote trigger for both the camera and flash. The flash synchronization does not work. To do that you need two transmitters as well as two receivers. If JJC packaged it like that, it would be a much more useful bit of kit. Having one transmitter and two receivers is fairly pointless except for triggering two remote flashes from the hot shoe, which I admit is a nice feature.Update - after many emails, JJC have offered to sell me a 2nd transmitter for US$13. That way I can trigger the camera remotely and have it sync to a remote flash. Hurray!

Stopped working after just one photo session (less than 50 shots). The green lights comes on on the receiver but the flash does not fire. Customer service not responding. Avoid.

I didnt' take the time to read the reviews until after I purchased this - I was hoping to purchase another transmitter to make it possible to fire off the flash and camera at the same time. JJC can you let me know if that's possible?
