Good strong magnets. Easy to put on, even extends the length of your necklace a little. Makes wearing necklaces easier as my dexterity is not what it was. Clasps are too small on most necklaces for me. Makes a wonderful present too. Price can't be beat.

Easy to put on but a beaded necklace was too heavy and would not stay together. Magnet not strong enough. Something light weight it would work good .

I got to try this magnetic clasp for the first time on Easter Sunday 2023 - my granddaughter bought me a beautiful necklace awhile ago, but I rarely get a chance to wear it, so I decided that Easter would be perfect to show my necklace to my family and church friends. Even though the necklace is a little heavy, I was amazed that the clasp held during the entire time I wore the necklace. Only once I accidently pulled my hair and with it the clasp came undone - but only because I yanked. I thought I broke the necklace chain, but then I realized the chain had a magnetic clasp on it - it just came undone, and put my necklace back on and it stayed on me all day and night - until I took it off again. I cannot express enough how easy it is to put on a necklace without always having to ask for help. These clasps make applying jewelry so effortlessly - especially if the jewelry is tiny and delicate, or if someone has arthritis in their hands, and has no partner to help them. I applied one set of clasps onto my Diabetic bracelet with a tiny safety pin so I can put it on without asking for help - takes only seconds to put a bracelet on. I love that the clasps are tiny enough that they do not steal attention away from the piece of jewelry. I recommend this product to anyone - woman or man or child.

The magnet is strong and I use these often with my silver gold plated jewelry only. While they are pretty good and secure, I prefer not to risk my 14k gold jewelry with a magnet. So, with that caveat , I like this product. I just think it might be a good idea to keep highly cherished or valuable pieces on a regular clasp. If you are going to be very active, the magnet may get pulled off. I do use them when I am not concerned about those factors.
