So, after much searching for ice skates both online and in store, I decided that for the comfort and fit and price these were the ones I would order. Now based on a previous review I went with a size smaller than my daughters actual shoe size. It was a spot on fit! The comfort of having the foam, fur tops around the ankle was a delightful bonus. The velcro strap along the top does help with cinching the shoe but also keeps the laces from un-tying. My daughter is 12 and skates at least once every week during the winter. We have found these to be great skates with the right amount of stiffness and yet flexible enough to allow her to learn to skate backwards and other cool tricks without digging into her calves.

I'm a recreational skater that goes on the ice about bi-weekly. This is the first pair of skates I ever bought.I'm very happy with these, especially for the price. Comfortable, but not perfect. I hope they break in more as I wear them.Blade feels smooth, and I like the strap over the top of the skate.I have a wider foot and finding wide sized skates that are affordable is really difficult. I picked these because other reviews complained they felt loose. This worked out in my favor. The footbed fits well but the upper shaft is a little looser than I'd like.Updates:I've been on these skates for about a year, skating at least once a week. They are holding up well. However, despite wearing them so much, the break-in is not great. They now fit too loose. I am an aggressive skater and am advancing in my skills, so it feels like I've outgrown them. For a seasonal skater who isn't aggressive, I think these skates will work just fine. But for anyone that skates a lot and wants to advance in skill, you will outgrow them and the looseness of the fit makes learning higher skills challenging.

After reading reviews I decided to order true to size. My smaller foot (9.5) would not even fit into the size 10 boots. I double checked the size on the shoe to make sure they didn’t send me a smaller size - they didn’t - the boots are just super small! Will try again with size 11!

Very comfortable and they seem very well made. I passed over a few pairs here on Amazon in the +-$30 range that had many reviews of soles coming off. No such issues with these ones. I'm confident they'll work for 4-5 uses a season for many years to come. Needed 7.5 but only sold in whole sizes, 8 worked great. Figured a little loose would be better than tight and fixable with thick socks, but they did fit me perfectly.

Ordered size 9, that is what I wear, other reviews said they were pretty true to size. But they are not. Way too small. At least a full size. They look nice though. I like the extra lining. I had to return them.

I just love these lady's ice skate. They are exactly as describe, the size is perfect. I take a shoe size 7 1/2 and I ordered a size 8 and they fit perfectly. I would recommend them 100% even though they might be a bit pricey.
