We recently had a ladybug infestation to contend with and after much research, I became incredibly friendly with various oils and other home remedy alternatives. It turns out that lavender is disliked by many insects! This happened to be a nice bonus. Not only did it keep our hamster habitat smelling fresh and pleasant, it actually repelled the ladybugs out of the room. To be fair, I used this in conjunction with oil diffusers in the room, but It’s a nice peace of mind knowing that the bedding may also repel bugs! I just hope our hamster likes the scent as much as I do!

Personally don’t like it, I only sprinkled a little onto the litter sand and now the entire hamster area smell like somebody cracked an entire bottle of essential oil and giving me a migraine. It’s not “slow release”, it is “immediate release”. The scent of the product itself is much stronger than the little odor produced by the hamster.

This was the worst item I ever ordered ,the dust and fragrance set me into an asthma attack that lasted 16 days .Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND IT FOR RESPIRATORY PAITENTS .My Dr says that the ingredients have an absorbent that gets in the lungs. IT SHOULD COME WITH WARNINGS ....... NEVER AGAIN .I only give it a one because I have to so I can warn others about this product.

This product requires time to determine but y'all kept hounding me for a review.It seems to be fine but it's too early to tell. It's a fine powder, no overpowering smell of its own but I can't speak to its longevity.

I put this in and it helped with odor as was VERY strong. Sadly my hamster died a few days later. Probably just a coincidence, but I do wonder as it's such a dusty powder.
