Didn't like the way it closed. Magnets caused screen to stick to garage door. Looked awful rolled up.

Perfect timing! After just about 1 year of use, my previous garage screen had just about had it and we had been searching for a new one.Our previous one had 3 doors versus this one, with 2 and I think I’m liking this one more - so far anyway!Out of the box;Packaged well, with simple instructionsWide Velcro tape and thin Velcro tape2 small bags of gold thumb tacksScreen w straps to roll up.Once you have all your pieces laid out, installation is rather simple and goes smooth. Please assure your surface area is clean of debris, random staples or nails. We also have found a quick wipe down with alcohol assures the Velcro tape sticks well.Wide Velcro for the top, thinner for sides. Peel as you go, it’s sticky and you don’t want it to get away from you.Once you have your Velcro Tape in place, we’ve found it helpful to go back over with staples. We have an handheld staple gun. This is just an extra precaution to avoid the tape from coming loose. We keep our garage door open almost daily, relying on the screen to go in and out of. No matter how careful, our previous garage screens have always come loose at some point. This may be different for you, just felt it was worth mentioning as you may find it helpful too. Doesn’t really cause any damage to our garage frame either.Once your Velcro Tape is secured, time to attach the screen. Make sure you’ve centered the screen and work from the center to each side. The Velcro attaches easily and firm (note; we also add a few staples across the top only of screen strip)We don’t really use the tie up straps, we’ve tried in the past and haven’t found any pros in doing so. We keep one vehicle in the garage and one in our driveway. Again, this may be different for you.As mentioned above, the double door versus the triple seems to not blow in as much as having 3 flaps. I’m hopeful with this set up we’ll get more than a year. The center closes together with several, approximately 3” horizontal magnets. I do wish the bottom was more weighted, but really every one we have ever purchased has been the same. I may add additional weights later, we’ll see how it goes.Having installed (and made mistakes) several garage screens over the years, we finally have a system down that works best for us.Hopefully this will help someone - thanks for taking the time to read through my thoughts. All of which are my own, not influenced in any way.

Light wait material, the only thing missing is a stronger weights at the bottom of the screen to hold it a little steady when wind is high.

The biggest thing that I do not like about it is that in order to leave it mounted it has to stay on the outside of the door and I do not think my HOA would be good with me leaving it up all the time. Plus stuff gets between it and the door so it would be better if there was a way to mount it on the inside of the door. However, the installation is not that difficult. It feels like the screen material is a little thicker than my window screens but maybe just cause it is new. Overall it is pretty good quality and the price is decent too.

I ordered this screen to replace a customized entrance for our patio. It does not disappoint. The material is much thicker than the one I had installed for years which have ripped in multiple places under the hot sun.The Wider Velcro is definitely a plus as we live in a windy area. It’s obvious that this screen will not fall down from the horizontal Velcro which is something I had to struggle against with the previous one. This is a permanent installation for my purpose so I stapled the Velcro unto the wooden frame I built as well. So far it works exactly as it should at a fair price.
