I keep this at my outdoor campsite in a bin of gear that I keep there. I had been using the little butane stoves which work good but was sick of different fuel cannisters so I wanted a propane one so I only needed a common fuel (have a small propane grill). This stove works great, its durable and sturdy to support cooking and coffee kettles and heats quickly. The pocket stoves seem to have a more concentrated flame and will heat quicker, but are also less study. Since I didn't need the smaller size of a pocket stove and wanted a common fuel type in my use, this stove has been perfect.

This might cost a little more but you get what you pay for. (Well Worth It)This comes with everything you need.Nice sturdy base and high quality burner.No fuel of course but you can boil a large pot of water no problem.It holds a incredible amount of weight.I pound propane cylinder will last over 6 hours on medium low no problem.I have a lot of camp stoves and this one by far is my favorite !!!I highly recommend this camp stove and will definitely buy again but that might be awhilebecause it is so well made.ENJOY

I bought this stove instead of the Coleman counterpart because I read that the valve is better on this. I think that was accurate because the valve does work great and seems high quality. Other than that, the rest of the stove also functions great... sort of. My only complaint is that the metal bits that actually hold whatever you're cooking warped on my stove. They got red hot while I was cooking with it, which is to be expected, but after cooling down, they now have some warping. The stove is still perfectly functional, just a minor defect that could probably be solved by using slightly thicker metal. Overall, I love the stove though. No more boiling water on my barbeque which is what I used to do.

La use en la playa donde el viento es bastante fuerte, respondió muy bien, una sola horbilla la hace excelente, esto permite focalizar el calor en el objetivo de forma directa. Se puede regular la fuerza del fuego. Hay que tener cuidado con el tiempo de espocicion de la parrilla en el fuego porque se pone al rojo vivo y puede deformarse.

El control de la llama es gradual y permite cocinar a fuego bajo. Muy satisfecho con la estufa.La voy a utilizar como apoyo al momento de cocinar ya que mi número uno es una Coleman de gasolina super eficiente referencia 533. La Martin la tendré para mantener los alimentos calientes en el momento de servir.

This little stove arrived just in time for yet another CA power outage. My mobile home is all electric and it made such a difference to boil water in two minutes for hot tea and oatmeal instead of starting the day with cold snacks. It is very easy to regulate and inexpensive to run. Our local stores had sold out of supplies so ordering from Amazon was the best bet. Deliveries still arrived even when our entire town was shut down.

I bought this single burner stove for backup. It's easy to light and has a powerful flame. The included wide base keeps it sturdy. I wish it had some kind of wind guard though. This is a nice affordable stove if you are looking for the convenience of propane in a lightweight package.

Overall excellent product with 1 (IMO) safety flaw found on all similar products.The 'flaw' is the plastic base needs a 2" to 3" recess as the 1" is too short. Propane bottles (1 pound) have a plastic base held with glue and I've had them come off in the past. With a heavy pot of boiling water on the stove (which is quite high up due to the design) this is a safety issue. Years ago units like this did have much deeper, safer bases. This design flaw is on other similar designs from many companies and other propane products such as lanterns.What I did - I used an empty 1kg (2.2 pound) coffee can, cut a circle in it with tin snips large enough to SNUGGLY hold the propane bottle. The bottom of the can (open end) fits perfectly over the plastic base, the top with the cut hole, has the propane bottle extending another 1/5 to 2" higher (perfect). Much more sturdy and if the plastic propane bottle base pops off it will keep it all sturdy (much safer).Other then this, excellent product. The valve is very, very smooth and so easy to adjust from a very low flame to one which is very high. Very easy to cook from foods needing very low heats to rapidly heating up water for my morning coffee. The stove outputs at 10,000 BTU (instant as it's propane). A medium electric stove element is 7,000 BTU so the heat output is similar to a large, electric stove element.The type of design has pots pretty high so I usually use a lower table. The hob area is very high quality (stainless steel) as well and the 'grips' to hold pans is pretty good (I'd prefer it to go across). Flying pans fit well as does my kettle. Due to the design very small pots may be an issue due to the grip spacing. You'll require a LEVEL place for this.Long term DAILY Update - Still working great, one plastic leg did come off so I made a new one with wood stir sticks.Overall an excellent purchase, very low price for the high quality parts, fit and finish.

The base folds up nicely and the unit is light. It cooks food and boils water quickly. Control of the propane is very easy and holds in place and does not change. This has been a big upgrade for me.
