The instructions in the box said to plug the dongle into the Xbox. When I did, my Xbox said that the device is unauthorized and it would not connect to the controller.Other instructions said to update the controller first using a PC. That requires downloading a .exe file from a fileshare site, which is a cybersecurity nightmare. Furthermore, there are NO options compatible with iMac.Absolute waste of time.

I was confused at first because I couldn't get it to sync with the 360 so I just tried putting the dongle in the 360 and it recognized the controller.The controller seems to be working alright.I play a lot if racing games and I did notice that the triggers are a little too easy to pull as they don't have the same resistance as the original but I do like the controller over all... So far.
