Okay, so we just installed LVP in our entire basement, including the little home office (thanks, flooding!). Wanted a chair mat and found this. It's pretty attractive. Really it's a rug. If you have a machine washable rug with a rubberized backing, you'll know what this is. But it stays put, and does the job of keeping the chair from wearing the floor. Hopefully they market the same thing under a different SKU as a rug, though, because I'd imagine you'd sell a lot more of those.

I needed this rug because my latest office chair has a talent for leaving black marks on the vinyl floor. I correctly guessed that a rug would have a real advantage over one of those clear, hard mats that would be a pain to haul into the house. This rug is very attractive and really pulls together my office space. The brown rug's colors are neutral, and blend beautifully with my wooden desk, beige file cabinet, and grey craft cart. It was shipped folded and, three days later, is 98% completely flat. It's polyester, so it should be easy to take care of. A welcome addition!

So I wasn't really sure why I would need a computer chair mat. It's hardwood laminate flooring. It's already easy enough to roll about, right? Here's what I overlooked. The quiet. The clack clack and wheel noise. It's just gone. I'm surprised at how that detail made this a good move.It's very understated as it should be but is a nice subtle accent to the room and gives the computer area it's own identity. I'm not the least bit disappointed with the choice.

PRO: Looks classy and adds to your office decorating. Easy to Machine wash. The bottom side has rubber grip so that it will stay in place. Great on wood floors.CON: Would be nice it it were a bit larger.
