Seems like a great microscope and works, so far, with no problems. Be aware there is NOTHING included in the box. No manual, list of parts, directions, setup info, inventory list (what's in the box), inspected by ... With some searching, a manual was available on the internet/Omax site. My box had been opened and resealed ... as far as I can tell, nothing missing. Viewing head was NOT screwed on and came off when microscope removed from foam/plastic bag. It was well packed (a good thing), since the box was obviously dropped and had a dent in one corner.

We got this for my daughter for Christmas and it is awesome. I only give it 4 stars because the light is touchy and shuts itself off regularly, it turns back in when we toggle the light switch.

Hi. It arrived on time and nicely packed.All parts came.When you use the low amplification lenses, the image is average quality. Difficult to have a great focus. You can have a good image, but still missing a little bit of focus to make it perfect. When you use the 100x with oil, you can focus, but when you use the micro, the image loses focus, and again, you can see a good image, but still missing a little bit of focus to make it perfect.Good microscope for low-medium expectations.Havent check the camera yetThank you

The microscope is great for it's value, unfortunately it seems that the camera is not detected. I had the same issue and fixed it by plugging it to a USB hub, works perfectly fine now. Why is it fixed that way? I don't know, maybe there is some firmware incompatibility but I had the same issue with a FLIR camera and the hub does fix it.

This product is frustrating to use for the price. There are two main issues. The highest magnification doesn't really work, presumably because the light isn't bright enough, but it's hard to tell why. I can have a great image at 40X and then switch to 100X and it is dark and harder to see. The other main issue is that the camera won't connect to my computer, despite trying a bunch of tricks and having the right software downloaded. The miscroscope is decent quality except for these two issues using the camera and using the 100X magnification.

Es un gran producto, sin embargo el precio bajo parece por el tiempo que llevan almacenados y su manejo. Piezas vienen sueltas, con polvo y bailando por la caja, sin aislamiento plástico que proteja todo. El cabezal venía completamente separado del cuerpo con peligro de dañarse gravemente. No trae manual y el programa de la cámara viene en CD pero en la página oficial se encuentra todo fácilmente.
