I really wanted to get into the Erhu, and start with something cheaper. This was pretty much the perfect answer, not only was this much much more affordable than anything else I found, but it came with far more than just an instrument. Extra things like, backup strings, rosin for the bow, and even instructions on how to get started was all included in the already low price.If you want to get into the Erhu, this is THEE starter pack.

Skin is not python and very very very dry.It creates resonance on the strings so much that the tone is lost the higher you go.I tried to use more expensive strings, that made no difference.I tried using felt, and even modified some parts of it to combat the resonating issues but nothing helps.I dont like it.
