This is a very good wave maker for a reef aquarium. There are 6 levels of different types of waves but one is only for a dual power head scenario and one is for either single or double. My favorite things are the sponge guard to help keep your wandering anemone or fish from getting sucked in and the level 6 mode. In level 6 with a single pump you can have the wave on for a certain amount of time then off a certain amount of time, alternating, I.e., 2 minutes on-2 minutes off. With two power heads it will alternate so each direction will go on then off. The one thing I do not like (and actually need for my current tank) is that the power head is not adjustable, in other words, you can’t angle it to ensure your corals are getting the proper flow. If that is not a concern for your tank, I say go for it because this is a good little wave maker!

I loved playing with this wavemaker. It almost makes me want to setup another reef tank. Very quiet simple controls that work. Strong magnet's to keep in secure
