I was looking for a red toaster to go with my coffee, canister and glass jar and sign in my kitchen. So many glossy red ones, would just not do. I came across this one, a well-known name, in the mat red, and it is perfect for my ensemble. It toasts decently, one side sometimes darker than the other, but most toasters do that nowadays. I am happy with this one.

This little toaster is excellent. It really delivers on heat consistency and overall build. I wasn't expecting a smaller toaster to be this good at evenly distributing heat but this one is. I've been using it regularly since it arrived and it's done a great job totally replacing the need for my larger one. My sourdough slices come out deliciously crispy and browned WITHOUT burned corners and bagels are evenly toasted too! I'm also impressed the outer surface material, although initially I didn't love the matte plastic finish, it really doesn't get hot at all, it's barely warm when I touch it immediately after use, I've never had a toaster (especially a small one like this) that this such a good job insulating the heat to the inner body and not getting overheated on the surface. The pop up spring mechanism is well done too - the slices pop up but not out of the toaster like with my last one, and you can hear them - it's like a fun little chime to let you know it's done. And this thing is COMPACT. The bottom and cable are well designed and it's easy to secure the cord to the bottom ridges and plug in from all sides depending on where your wall outlet is.All and all, I LOVE this toaster. The main reason I'm taking off a star is the settings wheel - and rather the chosen color of the numbers. Against the red body, the numbers are barely visible. It's a bummer this little but important detail didn't get more attention while designing, everything else seems so well though out. Finally, note the size of the slots maybe limiting for some. It fits bigger bagels cut in half just fine, but it might not work for someone who toasts hot dog or burger buns regularly.

This toaster is pretty basic but does the job. I do think the red makes it look a bit cheap and it's more lightweight than other toasters I've used in the past, which I don't think is necessarily a good thing. However, this was perfect for the college student I gifted this to, who was very happy to have another reason to skip the dining hall

This is the first toaster I’ve ordered in a while, but it seems they’ve upgraded significantly from the basic models I remember! The price is competitive, making this particular product a great choice because; although it costs about as much as most other models, this toaster comes with more features and its user-friendly in just about every way. I love that you can customize the shade/level of crispness to meet your personal preference. There are seven settings and my family has decided we prefer four or five best. It’s a compact yet lightweight toaster, thankfully. It won’t take up much counter space yet it’s easily portable and can be moved to a different room or different sections of the counter with ease. We ordered the white model and I believe it matches just about any decor or kitchen motif with ease. The toaster works flawlessly, giving your bread, English muffins, bagels or waffles a nice crunchy texture on the outside while keeping them perfectly warm and tasty the inside. I haven’t owned a toaster in a while but this one feels like it takes a mere fraction of the time as the previous models. It’s speedy, efficient, versatile and customizable, and a great value for your money. The auto shutoff valve is a nice feature because mornings tend to be hectic in my household, so this is one less thing to worry about since you can rest assured it’ll turn off by itself if you forget to do so. I love the ease with which this product can be cleaned, thanks to the slide-out tray at the bottom that catches crumbs.

It's attractive and has some nice functions such as the stylish buttons for defrost and cancel. But I guess I thought it would feel heavier duty. The frame is plastic, but of course the toasting basket is metal and seems sturdier. Gets the job done, and handles bagels well, which was important to me. However the defrost feature is just an extended toast cycle. I thought maybe it would be reduced temp or something. We like the occasional frozen waffle and used to just toast it twice in our old toaster. It would get too toasty on the outside, but just warm on the inside. This is basically the same function without having to drop the toaster lever twice. But glad to have a fully functioning toaster again, so not disappointed.

The design and color of the toaster is very nice. It fits nicely on the countertop. It browns the toast quickly and evenly on both sides. I can say I’m pretty satisfied with it.The only negative comment is that some of my bread doesn’t fit in it all the way. But, that’s probably not caused by the design itself. Some loaves of bread are larger than normal. All in all, it’s a nice toaster.
