My daughter needed shoes, her feet had grown so much. She did not want to go into a shoe store. I was willing to buy shoes online, but needed to make sure to get the right size. This showed up quickly and worked just fine, and was easy to use. We got her accurate size and bought shoes online, and they fit great.

Well, I just learned something that, honestly kills off most of my remaining faith in the shoe industry. I got this thing, and saw that clearly the sizes is shows are not evenly distributed. And I wrote this:The spaces between the sizes are apparently totally random. It isn't possible to trust anything on this thing. Women's 7 and 8 are snuggled up close, as if they are trying to get away from 6 and 9. Mens 8 and 9 are doing the same thing. The men's half sizes are like a class room full of kids who had sugar for breakfast- not in their assigned palces. It is surprising the at the kids sizes are in numerical order, because they are all clearly doing their own things. This is a total waste of plastic and money. Don't bother.But then I wondered, are any of these sizes correct? And I looked up shoe size charts. The distance between a shoe size or hlaf size and it's neighbors varries, apparently randomly, from 3 cm to 7 cm for kids 4 to 4.5.So the men's measurements are mostly correct, assuming that the cm measurements on the divice are...Oh Dear, 20 cm on this thing are the same as 19.8 cm on my sewing tape measure. Which partially explains the fact that sizes get a bit loose in the larger men's sizes and are a cm or more off. The women's and kids sizes are spaced approximately correctly, accroding to the ridiculous sizing convention we use, but are almost all off by a cm or more, and not always in the same dirrection. So this thing is ok for a rough estimate but if you have a kid with growing feet, and you are ordering shoes, it might be worth measiring the resulting size with a measuring tape and pulling up a chart, which is available on most shoe websites. Or maybe mark sizes permanently, so you can see the amount they have grown.Even if this thing didn't have these issues, it doesn't have euro sizes, and the font it pretty small. Also, it shows a men's 15 on the chart, but the slider goes to just over half way between 14 and 15, so if get something else to measure the feet of your growing basketball player.

I loved it. It is cheap and easy to use. Just make sure you use it on hard floor and not on carpet. If you step on it on carpet you can break it.

Firstly, I only bought this for my child and it’s clear as day the infant lines are not equal. I wish I listened to the majority of the reviews that said do not buy due to inaccuracy but of course I chose not to due to pricing. It’s clearly cheap for a reason And the reason is it’s wrong ! I have attached a photo and pointed to some of the errors but to be honest you could clearly see 1 to 2 is very tiny, or 2 to 3 is very large, 6 to 7 is very large while seven to 8 is very small. Very dissatisfied.
