These will save you SO much time. And frustration, no need to worry about bad solder joints.I am a DIYer and I an solder [not well] but find these are great and very easy to work with.One of the nicest features is when you realize that you F'ed up and need to switch the layout of the pipes in a tight spot and you don't have to cut and resolder stuff.

If you thought SharkBites were good, the max are even better. They don't have that plastic sleeve in the middle that tends to get bound up. Super easy, super strong. Used to complete dual water heater install. Easy to mix copper and PEX.

Easily connected existing copper plumbing to new PEX installation with no loosening or leaking. These fittings are pricy compared to options sold at the local home improvement store, but are also higher quality than the copper to PEX connectors sold there.

I used 3 of these under my cottage. I had to “tap” them lightly with hammer to grip and stop leaking. I’m sure they will will hold and last though.
