I like it. Keeps the section of the handrail cooler to the touch while mag dumping. If I’m honest, I mostly got it because I thought it looked cool.

I have an M1A, which gets very hot around the barrel. This attachment allows me to 1) not need to use gloves and 2) not be too particular about my hand placement, allowing me to get better grips on the weapon.

Somewhere, somebody is laughing all the way to the bank. This is a total ripoff. A couple of pieces of laminated nylon cordura with some shock cord. Doesn't even cover the rail all the way around, it's just two separate pieces held together with the paracord. I'll know better next time.

The clip that keeps the thing tight doesn't hold and slips. Package was already opened when I received. My guess is I got someone else's return.

Pretty indestructible. I use it as a handguard rail cover then I slide it up to remove my hot suppressor when I'm done shooting. I really like it but I am still not sure its worth the price. Maybe if you use it for dual purpose.
