I bought this charger because my remote stopped charging and wouldn't work wirelessly, but it worked with a lead. I wanted to use it wirelessly, and this was half the price of a new PS4 remote. It works like a charm, and now I can use it wirelessly again!It does make the remote heavier, but I don't really notice it anymore. It's still comfortable to use and doesn't get in the way.I'm sure it'll come in handy for charging wirelessly too.
