What is HDbitT?
HDbitT is a new generation audio/video digital connection transmission protocol solution. Provides stable performance, long-distance transmission, and high-definition signal. SIIG's CE-H26T11-S1 HDMI HDbitT Over IP Extender with IR, 1080p@60Hz, Extends HDMI signal up to 394ft (120m) over a single Cat5e/6 cable with IR support with HDbitT transport protocol.

Note: IGMP Gigabit Switch is recommended for best performance and reliability
- VLAN setup supported - Users can create a separate VLAN for each TX and its corresponding RX’s.
- IR Extension - The extender kit supports IR pass-through feature allows remote control of the HDMI source device and playback function at the remote display.

- Check if your computer or device are with HDMI port.
- Check the extended display/ monitor with HDMI port and supports 1080p@60Hz resolution
- Please ensure using UTP Cat 5e, Cat 6, or Cat 6e cable for the best video quality and accurate transmission distance.
- IGMP Switch or Managed Ethernet Switch is recommended for the best performance and reliability.
- Transmitter (TX) channel must be separated from the local LAN internet system, otherwise the system is likely to be overloaded.

I have been using Siig products for over 20 years, you can't go wrong with their products. It worked right out of the box and was easy to install. The display flickers when it is connecting which appears to be part of the connection process. It worked flawlessly after that. Thank you.

It actually does work over IP, it’s not the best image quality doing it that way, great quality when point to point.

Review fro: "SIIG 1080p HDMI Extender Over IP 394ft - HDMI Ethernet Extender, HDbitT, IR Extension, HDCP, 1 to 1 or One to Many, TX & RX Balun Kit (CE-H26T11-S1)"It advertised as long distance (up to 394ft) long HDMI connection.I only tried it for 100 feet Cat-8 cable and it works as advertised for 1080P @ 60Hz(full hd).The inclusion of IR remote control is a really useful feature.One thing that I wish could be improved, is the need to plug in the power adapter (which come only with short cable). It is more convenient if it can be powered by USB which is more common.

We're testing this in tandem with an HDMI output splitter in an effort to replace in-place camera viewer clients around our office where employees must keep a view of the facility available at all times.Don't know why I didn't think of this years ago, but the ability to use our network infrastructure which is already well distributed throughout the building should hopefully cut down on the excess of PCs and thin clients just for cameras. So far, things are promising, no problems. Will update once we've had more time to test in a broader deployment!Very promising!
