I recently had the opportunity to test out the Sirius Green/Red Dot Sight for Pistols, and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed. This 1x24mm micro open reflex sight packs a punch in a small and durable package, making it an excellent upgrade for any pistol with an RMR cut.Pros:Crystal Clear and Versatile Reticle: The ability to switch between a crisp green and a vibrant red dot is a huge plus. Depending on the lighting conditions and target background, one color often stands out better than the other. The 5/3 MOA dot size strikes a great balance – large enough for quick acquisition yet precise enough for accurate shots at reasonable distances.Shake Awake Feature is a Game Changer: This is a feature I didn't realize I needed until I experienced it. The sight instantly powers on when it detects movement and automatically powers off after a period of inactivity. This significantly extends battery life and ensures the sight is always ready when you need it.Robust and Durable Construction: The 7075-T6 aluminum housing feels incredibly solid and well-built. It inspires confidence that this optic can withstand the rigors of regular use and even some accidental bumps. The IPX7 waterproof rating provides peace of mind knowing it can handle wet conditions without issue.Easy Installation (for RMR Cut Slides): If your pistol slide is already cut for an RMR footprint, installation is a breeze. The included screws and mounting hardware are straightforward, and the sight sits securely on the slide.Clear and Wide Field of View: The 24mm objective lens provides a generous field of view, making it easy to track targets and maintain situational awareness. The glass is clear and free of distortion, contributing to a comfortable and effective shooting experience.Intuitive Brightness Adjustments: The brightness controls are easily accessible and offer a wide range of intensity levels to suit various lighting environments, from bright sunlight to low-light conditions.Excellent Value for the Price: Compared to some other high-end red dot sights on the market, the Sirius offers a fantastic combination of features and performance at a very competitive price point.Cons:Battery Compartment Location: While the side-loading battery tray is convenient for not having to remove the optic to change the battery, it can be a little fiddly for those with larger fingers. However, this is a minor inconvenience. No Included Lens Cover: It would have been nice to have a basic lens cover included to protect the optic when not in use. While not a deal-breaker, it's an additional accessory to consider purchasing.MOA Adjustment Increments: While perfectly functional, some users might prefer finer MOA adjustment increments for ultra-precise zeroing, although the 1 MOA clicks are generally sufficient for pistol applications.Overall:The Sirius Green/Red Dot Sight is an outstanding optic for pistols equipped with an RMR cut. Its combination of a versatile dual-color reticle, the incredibly useful shake awake feature, rugged durability, and clear glass makes it a top contender in its price range. While there are a couple of minor drawbacks, the numerous pros far outweigh them. Whether you're a competitive shooter, a concealed carry holder, or simply a firearm enthusiast looking to upgrade your pistol, the Sirius Green/Red Dot Sight is definitely worth considering. It has significantly improved my target acquisition speed and overall shooting accuracy. Highly recommended!

I recently received the VINTCON Sirius Green Dot Sight through the Vine program, and this is my initial impression and personal opinion.Overall, I'm impressed with this optic, especially considering the price point. The listing accurately describes the sight, and it feels well-made. This is my first experience with a green dot, and I find it quite easy to acquire the target compared to traditional red dots.Like many red dot (or green dot in this case) sights, the dot clarity can be affected by brightness. However, I was pleasantly surprised that even at higher brightness levels, the distortion was minimal and the dot remained reasonably crisp. This is a big plus, as some budget-friendly options suffer from significant blooming at higher settings.**Here's a breakdown of my thoughts:*** **Build Quality:** The sight feels robust and durable. The 7075-T6 Aluminum construction gives it a solid feel, and the IPX7 waterproof rating provides peace of mind.* **Reticle:** The 3-MOA green dot is a good size for pistol use, offering a good balance between speed and precision. I found it easy to acquire the target quickly, and the 10 brightness settings (8 daytime, 2 NV) provide ample adjustment for various lighting conditions.* **Shake Awake:** The shake-awake feature is a great addition, contributing to battery life and ensuring the sight is always ready when needed. I tested it, and it seems to work reliably, powering down and back on with minimal movement.* **Mounting & Compatibility:** The RMR footprint is a huge advantage, making it compatible with a wide range of pistols and mounts. Installation was straightforward.* **Value for Money:** This is where the VINTCON Sirius really shines. For the price, the features and build quality are impressive. It feels like you're getting more than what you pay for.**Potential Drawbacks (based on initial impression):*** Long-term durability remains to be seen. While it feels well-built, only time will tell how it holds up to extended use and recoil.* While the dot distortion is minimal compared to some competitors, it's still present at higher brightness levels.**Conclusion:**The VINTCON Sirius Green Dot Sight is a solid option for anyone looking for an affordable and functional pistol optic. The build quality, features, and RMR compatibility make it a great value for the price. If you're on a budget or looking for an entry-level green dot sight, the VINTCON Sirius is definitely worth considering. It performs better than its price suggests and offers a compelling alternative to more expensive options.

We actually used this to replace an older Sig Romeo that while functional, was wider than we prefer and didn't work great with our holsters. We dropped this right in where the Sig was as there we just swapped in the RMR plate that came with the gun. Fit wise it is a much better fit than the wider Romeo was, so fit into our holster is much better. We took it to the range the other day and while the narrower view was different I won't say it was worse, just different. The quality of the glass seems to be on par with other reflex sights we have, making it a good value for the money. The dot is clear and easy to see. Adjustments were easy enough, but 1/2 MOA clicks would have been nicer than 1 MOA clicks for fine tuning.Overall a really nice well built reflex sight. If I had any cons, they would be again 1/2 MOA versus 1 MOA for adjustment would have been preferred. Finally I prefer the ability to change the battery without removing the sight, so it gets high marks for that but I prefer top mounts as typically I can remove them with a coin or any driver from my range bag. This unit however has fairly small dedicated and possibly easy to loose screws that lock the battery tray in place.

Don’t fit rmr. The holes on the green dot are too small. Really wish it fit because this is a nicely made green dot. Clear lens window!

Durable and energy efficient. This site has 8 different daylight settings to suit your needs as well as two night vision settings. I love that it powers down when not in use to conserve the battery and simple move it to wake it up again. Well built for lasting use.
