Speed Beez speed loaders are a "must have" item if you do any type of competitive shooting. Just push it in till it clicks...allows for quick, easy reloading when you're in the middle of a course-of-fire. The rounds don't inadvertently fall out when removing the speed loader from a belt mounted speed loader pouch. I use them for a Ruger GP100 equipped with a Pachmayr Diamond Pro grip and there is no interference between the two.(I also have a few HKS speed loaders, which are more suited for a leisurely day at the range, as HKS loaders require only a very light twisting motion of the knob to release the rounds and the rounds can fall out if you accidently twist the knob before you're ready)

This is a good high quality speed loader, in my opinion, better than any speed loader on the market simple and easy to use. I bought mine for the Kimber K6S/double action /single action revolver. Works well with aftermarket Hogue gripsPurchased from Hogue.

To start I ordered 5 and recieved 2 , they do not work very well in a GP100 . You will have to push jiggle and pray to get them to load. Kind of takes away the Speed Loader aspect of the name "speed".They do look nice and will be a new addition to the crap yard. All that being said, I can see how they could work in another revolver. Just not a GP100 as they clearly claim.

This is the best speed loader for the money. Nicely made using high quality plastic and machined Alumium. Slick operation when used with a loading block

It hangs up on GP100 match champion factory wood grips, and won't "fall" in like a normal speed loader should (or moon clips will do on this revolver.) People point out that you can just push harder and get it to load, but all that's doing is forcing the rounds a bit crooked in the loader, making them need to be pushed at an angle and dragging on the way into the cylinder instead of falling straight in, and scraping down the side of the factory wood grip on the match champion model, none of which I want to have happening. On this type of speed loader, you should normally orient the rounds into the cylinder, and let gravity take it down easily on it's own, then push the button on this type to eject them from the loader, which in a fast reload situation you can then let just drop to the ground. Any pushing or sideways force works against you doing that correctly and quickly. They tried, but that crane just does not come out far enough to make it easy to clear, and this product did not try to squeeze the walls down to try and clear it as much as they might have done. If I can't find a slimmer loader that will clear the grips, I'll just have to use moon clips on this particular revolver, because these are not doing the job correctly. Forcing, or scraping anything is NOT how a properly designed speed loader should work here.

I have always used the HKS speedloaders, but sometimes have trouble getting the rounds to go into the cylinder. These are quite a bit more expensive, but push the cartridges into the chambers of the cylinder quickly and easily.

I am a big fan of Speed Beez, even for as proud of their products as they are ;) . This specific one for the GP100 does have a little more hang up on the factory grip than I seem to get with my S&W revolvers and Speed Beez.I would go 5 stars if it would clear the OEM grip better. It's still doable just not as clean as it should be. For what these cost, compared to some of the competitors, I can't give it 5 stars based on the performance. Again build quality is good.Current design for the GP-100 I would not purchase again.
