I ordered this set of Steel Mill & Co Mini Book Notepad Set for Book Lovers because I loved the literary style of the three Jane Austen themed notepads. One caveat; I didn’t see the size of these tiny books when ordering. The size is given in the fifth sales photo; it’s on me that I didn’t click through all the photos before ordering. From a quick glance at the other sales photos, I assumed these were small notepads, maybe A5 or A6. These are actually really tiny, a bit smaller than A7. These notepads I received measure 4” x 2 3/4”.I actually love these teeny tiny notepads; they look great on my bookshelf next to my miniature book collection, nestled between the Nutshell Little Library and a petite set of Winnie the Pooh books. I love to imagine Arrietty borrowing these three tiny Jane Austen books to read, although she would be disappointed by the blank pages. I love the blank pages, at about 4” x 2 3/4” they are sized like a rectangular post it note, though they don’t have an adhesive strip. The pastel colors, pink, sage green, and sherbert orange, match the book cover designs, and are great for the little notes I leave myself, as I’m more likely to notice these small, colorful pages. These three small notepads are crafted to look like minute volumes of Jane Austen and filled with pastel paper for jotting notes. Sense and Sensibility has a cream cover with a pattern of flowers mixed with inkwells, fans, and tea/cups/pots; it’s filled with sage green paper. Pride and Prejudice also has a cream background; its cover has a floral design in oranges and pinks, and its inner notes are a pale orange. Emma has a pale blue background; it has a floral design in white navy, and pink, with pink pages inside. The three designs are attractive together and each book has an Austen quote on the back cover. These tiny books lie flat for easy writing; the thick foam core or heavy cardboard covers provide a strong backing to make writing easy. Steel Mill & Co has a wide range of literary themed gift items, so if you like the attractive cover designs, check them out, you may find the same book cover style in a mug, notebook, vase, or other item.At the current price ($14.95) these are just under $5 a mini notepad. That’s more than I would pay for a plain notepad, but the design and theming of this literary, Austen inspired set of notepads raises the quality and value of these cute little faux book notepads. The boutiques in my NUC neighborhood sell themed or humorous notepads for $10 apiece and up, three for under $15 is closer in price point to what I might expect to pay for “themed” stationery at a big box store, though these are more boutique quality. The tiny size makes these ideal for tucking into a pocket, purse, or tote of any size, so you always have a place to jot down a few notes. These fit perfectly into one of the phone pockets in my purse, though I like to keep them as a set on my office bookshelf because they look so cute together. My office is decorated in fairy tale/literary style (I write fairy tale fantasy series under different pen names, so these tiny faux books are perfect for the aesthetic of my office decor.)These could be cute stocking stuffers or Easter basket gifts for your favorite Austen fan or book worm. You could use them separately as tiny gifts in a party goodie bag, or give the whole set as a gift. I love the eclectic mix of book covers, each book has its own distinct style, but they look great together.Adorable and tiny Jane Austen themed notepads are sturdy and cute. Perfect to slide in your pocket or tuck in your purse so you can write lists, reminders, or catch creative genius as it strikes.

These Jane Austen mini notebooks are very cute. I'm using them more as decor on my bookshelf. While I love the style of the cover, they really are just wrapped packs of sticky notes.Would still be great as a gift for a booklover. My only issue is that I think it is just a tad overpriced for the value of the item you are getting. I've been to many book conventions and seen various Austen decor and book tablets. The list price for these of $14.95 seems about 15-20% higher than normal.I would suggest the seller either lowers the list price or offers a coupon to be competitive with comparative items.I wou

These are small and lovely. One will go in my purse, one will go in my car, and one I will give to my best friend. Unless I decide to keep it. That's the type of friend I am. Just finished watching a Jane Austen-themed movie. She is one of my favorite authors and these tiny notebooks are charming. Note that they are not made to be small journals, but mainly to jot down a note and then tear out the page. They're made to be removed. Never heard of the manufacturer Steel Mill & Co. but I'm going to keep an eye out for other stationery items by them. Not only are these mini notebooks on target for my love of Jane Austen, but they are also reasonably price. Approximately $5 per notebook, which is a little high for a notebook, but these have a very special cover, back and spine. Love them. Cute gifts, maybe for your bookclub members, teacher, neighbor, simple thank you......

These notepads are super adorable. The style is whimsical and nicely reminiscent of the regency-era. The notepads work well, they are not sticky pads. The paper is thick and fully saturated. Something to note: standard pens and pencils work well with it. The highlighters I have are a bit muted (not super bright) so they don't stand out very well on the paper. They are sure to draw oooohs and aaaaahs from anyone either receiving these as a gift or anyone who walks by while you're using them.

Charming little notebooks designed for any lover of Jane Austen. The brightly colored pages are a fun touch. Unfortunately, the "Emma" notebook was not bound correctly, and the cover has come off of the front of the notebook. The others don't feel particularly secure which makes me think these are not notebooks but rather note pads with removable pages. The covers are thick and sturdy, but I do feel these are overpriced for the sizing.

I am an Austen nerd, so I love these small notebooks made to look like her three most popular novels. They’re perfect for throwing in my bag and using for notes or lists or doodles. The pages inside are colorful and unlined, so they’re perfect for capturing whatever I want to write in them. The covers are decorated with flowers and have quotes from Austen on the back. And the covers come away from the pages at the front of the books, so I can use the books as a small journal or as a memo pad, tearing out the pages as I use them. I love that versatility. These are fun and handy and a way to keep Jane Austen close. What more could a book nerd want?

Very cute small notebooks/pads shaped like little copies of Jane Austen's most famous novels. Unfortunately, the Pride and Prejudice came a little damaged with some smudging on the outside, indicating it experienced some of the rough handling before being packaged in it's plastic covering. The paper in each is a different color, with Pride and Prejudice in orange, Emma in pink and Sense and Sensibility in mint green. In my personal opinion, the bright orange doesn't match the vibes as well as the pink and mint green, but it is a small preference. A very fun gift for any book lover.
