About STX
STX is the world's leading manufacturer of men's and women's lacrosse sticks and protective gear, including gloves, padding, and women's eyegear. No matter what the product, STX is driven by the same philosophy that spurs every innovation: to create the highest-quality, most-cutting-edge lacrosse equipment available and enable players to reach peak performance on the playing field. This, in turn, raises the standard of play and the specter of America's oldest game and fastest-growing team sport.

STX's history traces back to the early 1960s, when the STX founders--lacrosse players themselves--began experimenting with synthetic materials to create a lighter and more resilient stick. Traditional wooden lacrosse sticks were difficult to manufacture, poorly balanced, and hard to maneuver, and often broke due to the physical demands of the game. STX's earliest sticks, by contrast, had a solid double-walled head made of Dupont Adiprene urethane rubber affixed to a hickory shaft. Although crude by today's standards, STX's first synthetic stick went a long way in solving the biggest problems facing the sport. Each stick was now the same weight, balance, and flexibility, because they were made from the same material and same mold every time. In the years since, STX has pioneered nearly every equipment innovation in the game, including such head advancements as the straight double-wall head, the mesh pocket, the pinched sidewall head, and the forward canted head; such gear improvements as the aluminum handle, the composite handle, and the offset handle; and a host of glove and goggle enhancements.

We are very happy with our lacrosse bounce back. My 11 year old son uses it all the time, and it works great when you don't have a wall for them to practice throwing against. I actually think this model is better than the more expensive ones that look like a trampoline because there is more surface area for them to aim for. Took a little time to set up but other than that, a great purchase.

I researched many rebounders before making this purchase. It was shipped quickly (oh how I love amazon prime) arrived in good condition. Assembly was not too bad - if you take the time to read the directions. you can practice ground balls and high catches. My kids love it, and it seems to stand up to the weather. We left it our all summer, but put it in the shed before the winter snow.

Setup was easy but the angle of the lower section is not steep enough to bounce a lacross ball more than a few feet. My kids had to stand about five feet away or closer and even then, the ball only came bakc at knee level.I don't know about other sports but this is definitely not strong enough for lacrosse.

The item itself is what we expected. The boys use it for lacrosse and soccer practice. It works. Putting it together was an experience. No photos, no instructions. It took 4 of us about 30 min to figure it out and another 30 to put to together with significant effort.

Even after reading about how hard this is to assemble, I bought it for my son anyway. The thing is - I went and looked at the instructions on the STX website. (Good thing I did, too, since there weren't any in the box!) So, it really was pretty easy to put together as long as you put the bungees over the smaller ends of the tubes. There are a couple tubes that do not have the smaller ends, which slip into other tubes for the connection, but judicious selection of bungees to put on those makes the job *not* impossible. The size of the large loop on the bungees varies just a little bit; the smaller ones are very hard to fit on the big tube ends, larger ones are easier.Overall quality seems pretty good. Online instructions don't exactly match what's in the package: there are four parts that I have no clue about (shaped like a wire J) and the number of bungees in the package (47) doesn't match the (39) described in the instructions. The included wrench for tightening the nut is a silly useless thing - use a socket or even pliers for better results.Oh yeah - there are spare tube connection springs included, I'm very pleased about that since they'd be pretty much impossible to replace otherwise.Just received it yesterday, built today, and I expect it will do its job as a training aid just fine.UPDATE - nearly three years laterThis trainer has held up quite well, with one caveat. The net and the frame are still in really good shape, the net showing slight signs of age after being outdoors year round in a shaded location. However, the bungees on the bottom of the frame have (not unexpectedly) worn to the point of falling apart. They are abused by dragging the unit around on concrete, so really, no surprise. My problem was not being able to buy replacement bungees.Solution! *Other* bungees (Keeper 6345 8" Canopy Bungee Cord, 25 Pieces) work great at a good price! And they are easy to put on without having to fit the bungee over the pipe, which was the only difficulty in assembling the unit the first time around.

LOVE it, great sturdy and easy to put together. I read reviews about how there are no instructions and how you have leftover pieces at the end. Here's my experience. We had good instructions in our box, although there were two items in multiple quantities that are not pictured. One is not even mentioned, and one is mentioned just not pictured. Yeah, they could be better, but the 2 pieces, if you get stuck are as follows. "Item J" which we had 3 of them sealed in with the other parts, is used to pull the bungee hooks closer to the frame. You may not even need them, but they are called "quick connect tools" and if you've ever put together a trampoline you'll know how to use one. We didn't need to use ours but one time, and putting 3 in the box is overkill. The other item is not mentioned or pictured, but are simply 4 hooks that are basically ground stakes to anchor the frame and keep it from tipping up when the ball hits it. Think "tent stakes" and you have the picture. Never mentioned and totally optional, and it would have been nice if it had the instructions mention them, but it's pretty obvious what they're for.My son loves it, it took maybe 20 minutes to assemble the frame, and 10 minutes for the net, including getting two pieces installed backwards and fixing that. He loves it, five stars, and REALLY fast free shipping.

This has been great for my 3 girls, they have really improved their passing and catching ability but there are limitations to this product. The angle of the netting does not allow for a shoulder high return unless you are 3 feet away and fire it as hard as you can and that is an unrealistic expectation for most young lax players. If you are looking for a substitute for another body to get the ball back to you, this is your rebounder. If you are looking for a rebounder that is going to return the ball shoulder high, there is just not enough tension in the netting, you are going to need to look at a different product.
