The Susan Bates comfort hooks are great! I’ve been crocheting for 40+ years and have never found better hooks than these. I only use the in line hooks, I feel they hold the yarn better, and the comfort of the handle is great! The shaft from hook to grip is appropriately long and smooth. Overall the best hooks, I have nearly every size in these hooks and keep several of each size I use often. I can’t more highly recommend these hooks, you won’t be disappointed.

These are quality hooks and comfortable to hold. I really like the clear white size and mm markings on the black handles. They are easy to read. The hooks are very smooth and the yarn slides over them easily.

Ngl I wasn't a fan of bates hooks in the past but ever since I started using an 8mm bates hook for this cardigan made with bulky yarn, they grew on me. I still prefer my tulip etimo reds but bates hooks with the soft grip handle are great! Takes a bit to get used to (if you use pencil grip) since these are longer than average, but still good!

Completes a set of different sizes with others bought as needed.Good colours for id, but the hook edges are way too sharp & can split the yarn. easily remedied with a bit of careful filing…. Good shape for regular gauge for me for a good crochet result
