I was excited to get these given that I have a spare A2 break. The protector does not fit the A2 break. Not happy about that. Not sure what I will use them for now.

These thread protectors are HUGE!!! In the photos, I’m showing this black one vs a TiN thread to show the extreme contrast in size…HUGE! The internal threads are NOT CLEAN. It took close to an hour to gradually off-and-on this thread protector (with lube) to get these to seat properly. Why 3 stars and not 1? The included holder for these thread protectors are GREAT; the hooking piece is also great! They hold my other thread protectors perfectly. For the price, the thread protector holders made this purchase acceptable

I got the 5/8x24 version. The male component with the hook is handy to affix to my suppressor when its in the backpack so that it can be easily retrieved as it would otherwise tend to fall to the bottom of the bag.

I love the idea of these guys. When I have the protector on the barrel I just clip the holder to the sling. When I take it off to place on a muzzle device, I don't loose it as it is hanging on the sling. Yes I take it off for my hikes in the woods with rifle so it doesn't jingle. Anyway I would recommend these, price is fair and quality seams good.

These are quite the novelty but seem pretty well made and should come in useful to keep track of muzzle devices or protectors. Screw your device onto the keyring and use the snap clip to attach it to your bag or even a belt hoop.The thread protectors that came with the key fob are aluminum but will work in a pinch to keep your threads from getting banged up.
