I have a small senior dog (13 pounds) & she has a chunky "full-figured" mid-body, so this was at best a gamble to fit her. I wish it did, because I like how it's designed, with step-in legs & snaps down the back that opens all the way, plus the V-neck for comfort; the fabric (strawberry print) is cute too. But using the size chart to fit her chest, I had no choice but to order an XL, & it's just way too long for her body. I'm trying to modify it to fit her- I hate to give up. The snaps are very tight, which is what you want so your dog cannot easily remove this (like if you're using it to keep them from licking a surgical site), but to ensure a long-life for the garment, I'd suggest not pulling on the light & stretchy fabric to open the snaps, but prying them apart carefully.

Sizing is totally off. Bought my 10 pound Maltese the medium and it was too small. I will say the design is cute, though.

This pet onesie is so adorable. I love the strawberry print and the pretty pink color. It’s suitable for an after-surgery suit for pets that lick their incision because it has holes for their hind legs too and covers their tummies. I gave it 3 stars though because I think it’s sized more for dogs. My cat is very tall and thin and long-backed — she weighs 10lbs and I got her a Medium which should’ve fit per the size chart. It fit width wise around her chest but it was still several inches too long for her, like it would maybe fit a dachshund or something. Sizing down wouldn’t fit her either because then it wouldn’t snap around the chest. She was able to easily squiggle her way out of it due to the issues with the fit but that’s okay because we only plan on having her wear it for short periods of time (to take videos or when she’s meeting people who don’t want to get cat hair on their clothing) but it may be an issue if your cat had surgery and needs to keep the onesie on for longer periods of time.
