This is an excellent shower base. Unlike others, this is solidly braced and does not flex. The best part is the surface texture. It is truly non-slip, and you will feel completely secure while showering. I highly recommend it. Just one thing, though. My experience with Transolid products is that they are often not securely packed and can sustain shipping damage easily, so be sure to inspect it as soon as it arrives. That said, if you have a problem Transolid is easy to work with and will work with you to solve it.

Very sturdy unit. Much heavier than I expected it to be. Was packaged well and arrived faster than estimated. Good instructions that were written well and easy to understand. Has a good slope, and traction. The hidden drain looks good, but does not always start to drain when you first turn water on. I have to move the cover piece around with my foot a little to get the hydrostatic pressure to break so it will start to drain. Then it works fine. The tile edge is big enough to accommodate thick tile (maybe too big if you dont want the ledge that it leaves after install). But not bad. Has some small weep holes to allow any water to drain out if it get behind the tile which is good. Would definitely recommend and would buy again.
