I can't tell you how much I love this product. I have heartburn from time to time. Watching what I eat helps, but I had no idea how much it would additionally help to drink alkaline water! It is WONDERFUL! It also removes the strong chlorine taste our water has. This filtered water has a "smooth" taste, far superior to water out of the tap. Many filters take out the chlorine, etc., but I needed the alkaline feature, which this has. I take this with me on trips and always fill my water bottles with it. It is a very durable little filter, made very well. If you intend to travel with it, as I do, KEEP THE VERY STURDY BOX it comes in. This will protect it and keep the parts together. The filter lasts a LONG time. I purchased a three-pack of replacement filters, also via amazon, but have not needed to use a new one yet. I'm waiting until the water quality starts diminishing, but it hasn't yet in the five continuous months I've been using it.

I have been using it for a couple of weeks, yes the filter works great, but the water leaks no matter how secure the top is put, drops come out on your clothes or you lap so I need to have a napkin every time I drik from it, It takes a while to fiil up with water as well so if you are going to need a pitcher for the firdge you need to plan ahead, same at my office, it takes a while to filter the water. Its really nice and very portable, bit small, but that its still ok, but I don't think the price is worth the quality of the product.

Okay I would really give this a 4.5 Stars, but I can't I take this Everywhere with me since I travel a lot and I like to make sure I'm drinking clean water, when I forget to buy bottled water. It's Great for traveling in airports and I just filter my water. It comes with a testing kit to make sure your waters PH is what it's suppose to be. I did have to run the water through about 3 times because it didn't come out the color it should've have been, but instructions tell you that too. I was on the edge at first about buy this, but Just had to since I'm a big fitness & health junky and more so as I am getting older. My only gripe is that for the price, I wish it were bigger. You do have to wait about 10 minutes for the water to fill up, but what I actually do, is I have these 2 pitchers I bought from Cosco and they are thin enough at the top that I can just sit my TYgo filter on the top and I fill up my pitchers that way. I have to constantly keep adding wadding to drain through, but it's not a big deal since I know my body is benefiting from this. It's kind of a short round container, and not the easiest to take with you to the gym if you don't carry a small bag around, but it gets the job done for me. I really am glad I bought it and I've been making very good use out it daily as I do not drink any water that is not alkalized or purified.

This is a VERY small water filter. Look at the set of keys beside it. That will tell you how small it actually is. In the beginning, it takes a long time for the water to filter through. And YES, I did soak the filter in water multiple times. The shipper On-Trak lost the first one that I ordered and I had to purchase it again. ( I was reembursed for the lost one and. Did not have to pay to ship the second one). It is not worth $65.00. I think $15.00 would be a fair price. You can get Brita at Wal-Mart for less than $20.00 and it makes a lot of filtered water at a time.

I purchased this water filter to get my PH higher. They include a ph tester with the water filter. Using their PH tester it shows that the water is alkalized at 9 or 10. BUT..when I tested the water with my own PH tester it shows that the water is not improved at all and is at a 7!!! So I'm questioning the validity of their PH tester. I know that their ph tester which includes a liquid that is added to the water is reacting to something in the water to make it seem like the water is alkalized. But, my question is..then why wouldn't my normal water alkalizer testing strips show the same results?????? I think something bogus is going on here!!!!! Not worth 60 dollars and i'm back to the drawing board of looking for a real water alkalizer.

I've been using this faithfully since March 2012. It does what is says it will do (raises PH, filters out bad stuff and re-mineralizes tap water) but, very importantly, the water tastes great.I fill it several times a day and let it filter in my fridge. Every time I poor a glass of water I just refill and this method has worked out very well for me. If I had a large family I'd take a few minutes every night and filter a pitcher or two.I take it with me when I'm away from home for the day (or night). It's very convenient and I wouldn't be without it. As long as there's tap water you've got good tasting drinking water. BTW, I've had other portable filtering systems and this is far superior IMHO. This filtered water is all my thriving dog gets too!I feel like I'm doing my small part in helping the environment by NOT purchasing water bottles. Saves me money too.

I purchased it for my mother who was having some problems with acid reflux. I thought this would be a great attempt to see if maybe this would help with balancing her PH levels. Now I am not claiming that this was a cure for acid reflux. However, what I will say is that I am her caretaker as she is 79 years and has been using this for the past 6 months. Her acid reflux is no longer a major issue. As a matter of fact, the acid had caused some irritation to her throat and the last scope showed increased improvement in the small spots that were forming in her digestive tract. We have tried everything to reduce her acid reflux and this product has been extremely helpful.

Love our Waterman Portable Alkaline water filter. The water tastes better, and they last much longer than expected.

AS I understand, the filter is one of the best you can buy, removing more heavy metals and agricultural run-off than its competitors. That's why I chose it - however the canister is annoyingly small, to cook with this water, or even make more than one cup of tea, you find yourself waiting around for the water to come through. Also you have to the top container off to get water out, and the spout is irritatingly small. As the filter is so high-quality, I have stuck with it however, and have now put it over a larger jug so there is more water available at any one time. Suggestion to manufacturer - make one with your filter but a jug like the Brita ones, that's much more kitchen friendly.

The water tastes good but the design isn't really what I want. You can't filter much at a time, and I will not drink water that has sat in plastic all night, so in the morning it takes ages to filter enough to rehydrate me and boil the kettle. I think this would be good if you were going to carry it around - but then why not just filter your water in a bigger system and pour it into a plastic bottle to carry around? It is a pity they do not make a kitchen-sized filter jug.

I've had one of these for about 4 years. It works a treat, and I like the taste of the water it produces. However, 2 things.1. The jug isn't dish washer proof - as I found out the hard way.2. The jug is very over priced. The filters are about £20 each. Which is fair enough, they last a while and have the stuff needed to filter the water. And they work very well. However, take away the £20 for the filter from the price of the new jug and you're being asked to pay around £40 for 3 cheap bits of plastic. That is ridiculous and is a ripoff. Very disappointing.

LOVE THIS FILTER, BUT WHY AREN'T THERE ANY REPLACEMENT FILTERS AVAILABLE?????? The water in my area is full of chlorine and undrinkable even after boiling. The design of this is ok if you like portable filters (I don't) but why doesn't the company produced a larger jug container?
