For many things anymore prices does seem to be some indication of quality. A sling mount might just be a small thing but if it fails at best you send a rifle probably spend a decent amount of money on crashing to the floor. At worst you lose that rifle or create the possibility of sending a round off somewhere you don't mean to. So I was hesitant to try this but I figured why not? In part that was do to the fact that the standard AR sling mount/front sight and gasblocks costs about $20 and does three things while this does just one for half the price. So when I broke it down like that it didn't seem so 'cheap' and it's not. It is a good solid sling mount that fits military spec rails and does a good job. I would have preferred a flat head style screw over the Allen head but that is just personal preference. All in all this is a good quality product at an inexpensive price but certainly isn't 'cheap' when it comes to quality.

After receiving this product, although it didn't match the photo. I had the pleasure of working with the Customer Service Manager, Mr. Ryan Belen, at Outdoorbunker. He was very concerned in my review and wanted to work with me, the customer, on a resolution to the my issue. After sending a digital photo of what I received to what was shown on the ad, Mr. Belen was ablel to have the photo updated to correct the difference and show what actual correct part. This is called great customer service and support and I really do appreciate this very much. OutdoorBunker, as a vendor, only posted what UTG had and when the part came out, but then for some reason it changed, by no fault of Outdoorbunker, we the customer receives a different part than what we think we are getting. My AK-47 has the sling bracket on the side of the hand guard and the bottom of the stock. It put the rifle in an awkward position on me when shouldered. I put a 5 slot barrel mount picatinny tri-rail and this allowed me to put this rail mounted swivel and my rail mounted bi-pod on together and solved my problem . UTG makes very good and reliable accessories and Amazon.com sells them at a great price. You can't go wrong with this set up. I also still have 2 rails left to put a laser, flashlight, or any other rail mounted accessory on my rifle.

This item works as it should. The Picatinny mount is black and the sling swivel is OD green. Not the look I was expecting.

Again, another UTG product which I've received in great condition, fit, finish, all good. One thing I consider to be a negative though, is the body of the sling loop could've been finished in the same rubber type present on the mil-spec sling loop found on the standard M15 front sight base. This coating prevents rattling and squeaking. In mounting my 3 point sling to my custom M15A4 SPR, I played around a bit to find the best mounting position along the left side of my , settling on the L17 rail position to allow maximum economy of movement, while keeping the sling from getting in the way of accessories or during magazine changes. As the title says, it does the job, plain and simple.I will note that the wing-nut style bolt head which secures it has 2 holes drilled through it, allowing a narrow allen wrench to go through the hole and be used as extra leverage to tighten it in place. Probably a good idea, along with a drop of blue loctite once you find your favored mounting position, as it holds the sling onto your weapon, it may get worked loose over time. Have deducted one star from the fact that it lacked the rubberized finish that would prevent noise in the field, otherwise it's great.

I bought two carbines, a 40 caliber and a 45 caliber, both came without the necessary piece to put a sling. So, here comes UTG to the rescue with their little wonder contraption. For those who want to recreate the assault at the Bin Laden compound in Bora Bora, place a small amount of para cord on the metal piece, or a small amount of green tape (we love that stuff, don't we?) and the possibility of noise goes away. For all other normal use, the clinging noise of the sturdy metal part gets drawn out by the firing rounds and the... music? Try some Burt Bacharach. I hate Whitney Spears.

I bought this for one of my AR builds that has a quad rail gas block. So far the swivel has not loosened on the block. The finish is good on the piece and matches the rest of the rifle. I have used many UTG products on my rifles. So far I have no complaints about any of them. I think that their scopes are one of the best buys in the optics world out there. And UTG risers are every bit as good as the competing brands the cost 4 times a much.

Der Riemenbügel ist qualitativ hochwertig. Er wurde von mir modifiziert, um unter dem Zielfernrohr ein Flimmerband aufzunehmen.Würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen. Auch als Riemenbügel sehr zu empfehlen..

The only problem was that this is not a swivel, its a 2 directional lever and not a 360' swivel which is what I needed.Next time I will do much more research when buying a swivel.
