There's not much to say about extension speakers - they either sound good or they don't. This one has a good tonal range and offers plenty of volume. The mounting bracket is solid and the form factor is great for mobile installations - the shorter design facilitates mounting in a tighter-spaced mobile environment. Whether hooked to a VHF/UHF mobile, or an HF station, this speaker from Vectorcom is sure to offer superior sound over the factory built-in speaker of the radio.

Probably the worst speaker imaginable. Very cheaply constructed and extremely inefficient. You won't get much sound out of this product, so save yourself some time and effort by skipping this product entirely.
