I have an Australian Shepard that was over weight. Vet said to get the weight off. So we got the diet food but of course she wouldn't eat it. I ordered this, stirred one scoop on with the food and she cleaned the bowl! If it helps get her the calories she actually needs it's well worth it. A bag will last about 5 weeks with 1-2 scoops/ day.
