This volleyball is as good as I'd hoped for, and probably better. I got it to practice volleyball with my 10-year-old son who's just started playing, and it will be more than adequate.Upon opening the box I was pleased to see the little pump that came with it. I had forgotten that was included because I didn't really have need for it, but it's nice to have an extra. It came with two needles, and I promptly attached one and used said pump to inflate the ball.My first impression was that it seemed a little small, but sitting in the living room with soft lighting can do tricks on one's perception. I did a little homework for anyone who might be interested:Full size 5 regulation volleyballs should be 260 to 280 g. This one measured 287g on my little kitchen scale, fully inflated. I'm not clear whether the regulation mass is flat or inflated, but my scale is probably not perfect to within several grams either, and under pressure the mass of the added air would be a few grams, so I am completely content with this. As far as the size, regulation is 65 to 67 cm circumference, and I measured just a hair under 67 cm around the ball. It is indeed full regulation size and weight! The feel is nice, smooth but not slippery. It's also feels fairly soft to me, and the 10 yo doesn't have anything bad to say. One of the pictures in the listing refers to "leather." If that's a question on your mind at this price point, don't hold out hope for real leather. I was not expecting real leather, but I don't like it when listings imply something that is not so. That said, the material seems durable - it did not scuff easily or at all while testing that out with my fingernails. I believe this ball will last for a healthy long life if we manage to use it only on grass, sand, and indoors. I have my doubts about how well it would hold up on asphalt or concrete. That's not really a negative comment on this ball. I have a wide range of basketballs, and all of them, regardless of material and outdoor rating, have shown the punishment from playing outside on concrete. I wouldn't expect any volleyball to hold up better than a basketball. All in all I'm quite pleased.

Nice quality volleyball. Comes deflated for shipping, but comes with a pump and needles to inflate it. Pumped up with the included pump and thought it was enough/firm. Pumped up with an electric pump where I can set the psi and I was way off recommended psi of 6-8psi at 3.2psi. Just stating there isn’t any way to measure the psi, but that’s fine. My son plays volleyball for the school, and is looking forward to using this in the offseason practice.
