Very cute and sturdy material. Fit perfect in my sink. But the water would not flow out the bottom so I had to cut larger holes in the base of it to ensure water flow.

They are cute, but that is it. I will explain. The Catch fits nice into the drain opening, but the catch is made of plastic or silicone and there are small holes around the side and 6 on the bottom. On the bottom are tinier holes besides, but the plastic is intact still and even trying to poke a hole in the area, forget it. It doesn't work. So the only holes that are used are the 6 small slit holds on the bottom. Bottom line is you get a sink full of water or water in the tub that can easily make you fall. To clean, you can easy enough in the sink, but the tub, you have to let drain half full of water and then when you take the catch out, you can clean it easy enough, but the sink still has all the soap suds and if you don't rinse all of that down, it can be an ice arena and it isn't the easiest thing to get off the tub. So make your own decision, but I say Buyer Beware. Just isn't good.

Small holes allows the water to build up and , therefore, it’s a long process . I bough this because the drain cap is off and I didn’t want anything to go down the drain

My kitten is obsessed with the drain strainer. It started with the one in the bathtub and when we took that away, she started stealing the one from the bathroom sink. Since she's so spoiled I went online and found these, which are the same one we have in the sink. It arrived and she is in love! She went ham on it as soon as I put it down. So for that alone it gets 5*

Pros: cute, fits snuggly in place.Cons: Slows drainage, can't make holes wider. If mold forms, it sticks to it, and stains it no matter what you use to clean it. I tried cleaning it with hydrogen peroxide, white vinegar, bleach -each separately, of course- but the mold stains remained. I have other drain strainers made from silicone that don't have that issue, so I wonder why do these little strainers get stained.

The flowered drain protectors do a great job covering my old beat up bathroom sink drain.
